What a pure rendition... technically perfect: not a single fret buzz, not one arpeggio missed, perfect vocal pitch and words... and artistically: I'm just incredibly moved by this performance. Only one guy and his bouzouki but the whole Ireland is in there...

Born in the mountains of North Carolina (USA) our family would rabbit hunt in the winter. There was no greater pleasure than to see our lone Beagle give chase to the rabbit. When I hear "Creggan White Hare" at age 70 it reminds me of my childhood years and the great times of my childhood years. What a beautiful piece of folk music. I never get enough of listening to the "Creggan White Hare". Thank you Daoiri Farrell.

I don't believe he ever played it better than this, because it is nothing short of masterful. And someone was there to record it. Hallelujah!

The following year I met Daoiri in the Traditional music course I took In Ireland. I told him this that I played his rendition all Summer in Berlin, and Asked if he would please perform "Creggan white hair" for us... A huge gift was received that day to witness this man perform this beautiful song., Go raibh míle an Fear Naofa. Daoiri! What an absolute lovely man.

Absolutely true. To me it's a perfect example of pathos; this song nearly moves me to tears. My world is much different than his and our backgrounds differ significantly (I'm from Montana, live in Madrid) but I sing songs like this (or say Cat Stevens' Oh Very Young) to my little three-year and 10-month-old daughters because of the joy and other feelings they bring me. I'm glad to see Daoirí getting the recognition that he deserves.
