    Disappointed with Royce. Really thought he found maturity and balance over the years, but this is a shocking display of ego and dishonesty. You know where they was coming from with this album, and it was a far cry from a pity party. Pity is self indulgent. This is them mourning the loss of something they held dear. Something that was GREAT. That there isn't even a shred of respect for the efforts they put forward on this, shows the same level of indifference that probably gave rise to the groups demise. I expect this sort of narcissistic, double-speaking, ego driven destructive bullshit from Joe. Clearly bad associations spoil useful habits. TRAFOSH is a heartfelt masterpiece, but you need a heart to feel it.

    I think royce really showed his true feelings in this live. He keeps talking about how they ruined any chance of SH ever putting out another project and telling the fans that this is the opposite of what the fans want. NAH FAM, thats the opposite of what YOU want. Stop projecting your feelings onto the fans. Sure, the fans would've liked another project but crook and joell seem to be done with SH. Crook on the live said he is relinquishing his stake in the brand and moving on. The fans didnt have anything to do with that situation, we are just glad that we are finally getting answers. Royce needs to stop holding onto this thread of hope that the group will make more music and projecting those feelings onto the fans. Unreal.

    Respectfully, Royce is a prime example of a man who has inner conflict with pride yet tries to display a humble disposition. This is mixed with hypocrisy. He says ”I felt underwhelmed because they weren’t going at us enough…and wasn’t worth it.” He also says he was waiting for that Crook verse, as though Crook fell short of delivery…..Once again, saying an artist isn’t doing enough to warrant his reaction. It smells like pride. He did this with Lupe, too.
    As to Crook and Joell feeling less than, it could be the sense of pride that Royce and Joe put off in their statements that you have to put together, here and there, just to see how they really feel. Crook and Joell clearly weren’t pursuing a reaction from Joe or Royce. Joe and Royce chose to respond as a result of hurt feelings. Joe, more as a result of being exposed. He admitted to hating the old rap life.
    czcams.com/video/elNvU9kEPy4/video.html
    If there was a response to give, Crook has mentioned plenty of times for them to rap about it. Yet Royce says it’s a sad album aired out on raps. If that’s the case, the Book of Ryan is a sad album aired out on raps. They are both fire albums. Both express the past and its effect on where things are today. It seems that it's pride and hypocrisy that blinds Royce. Pride that makes him think that the album should have been aimed more at him and Joe. All 4 of these guys are legends due respect. Joe and Royce seem to have undercover narcissism that they try to battle by being passive aggressive with their reactions. This could be so they don’t appear as the bad guys in the eyes of others. This is still narcissism as it is an attempt to maintain a certain image of yourself in the minds of others.

They all love and respect each other and at this point Joell n Crook decided to accept it for what it is and move on musically and professionally. Must be noted that Crook gave one final attempt to get the group all together again and that fell on deaf ears. Joe didn’t call Crook and Royce would have been in but said he won’t do it without Joe. Mannnn, seeing Royce still talking like this and not seeing it any differently knowing he had to have seen and heard other peoples takes that he respects on the whole thing and not taking any of it in is rough to see. I see a bitter dolt. ...Now Joe? He's gonna ride this till the wheels come off. Totally expected.

      Nah yall are easily manipulated clowns running with a narrative.🤣 yall ain't heard a single word Royce said. Not one. Twisting everything to fit some wierd ass melodramatic imaginary version of him because he doesn't want to be divisive.🤣 It's fking sad.

    Imagine blaming the fans. Royce know there’s always gonna be critics, but blaming fans for why things are the way they are now? FOH

    First listen on the album I agree with Royce in terms of those first 2 records set the bar high in terms of what the album could be first listen. However another listen you can tell they wanted to make a real album need to digest it. This microwave era of evaluating an album in 2 listens is crazy.

    Joe and Royce are both narcissists. Royce hides behind big words. Narcissists sabotage and diss what they can't control. Joe retiring allowed him to get an unlimited supply of attention from the fans. He was going to keep holding up the group, and torturing fans with snippets.
    Royce and Joe both run to the internet and deflect, but bottom line is, real rappers rap. Salute to Crook and Joell for not acting too good to get in the booth, and getting us some closure.

    So Royce and Joe overreacted to the first two tracks and now Royce is saying it wasn't really a diss. How can he not see that he overreacted?

  • @youngzenizer
    @youngzenizer Před 2 lety +5

    Damn, so many people with low IQ who have a voice on the internet. What Royce meant by he wished their were more disses is: they (Crook and Joell) created more separation with their roll out than what it was about if the whole content of the album was what was already said during the roll out. Which objectively is 100% true.

  • @XboxStan82
    @XboxStan82 Před 2 lety

    Royce and Joe are in their feelings so there is no way I'm going to trust their judgment on an album that they thought was dissing them. It was a darn good album and the fact that he said that Crook and Joel have no direction without him and Joe's involvement speaks to how he truly views them.
