I recently bought the LEGO 1966 Adam West Batman Batmobile set, and in my opinion, Batman looks great the way he is. It would've been cool if the minifigure had the same cowl that he wore in LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham from the bonus level "Same Bat Time, Same Bat Channel", but other than that, he looks great!

The Lego Batman Movie just went all out on some of the characters. One of the best and most underrated sublines of any Lego license.

Ok in my opinion the original bane was a good adaptation of his first appearance in knightfall. In his first appearance bane wasn't this giant you'd see in later adaptations like Arkham asylum. He was a tall guy yes but not giant

For 2021, I disagree with the worst. The 60s Batman is incredible in person, an image can't do it justice. It feels right out of the show, and even has the zipper in the back. A lot of care went into it. I think the worst of 2021 was the non-movie penguin, as it is just the least good.

That reverse flash section was more of a critique of the character's design rather than the minifigure. There was no other design they couldve used to make Eobard recognizable to the average buyer.

Maybe even a stronger outline around the face might've helped, but maybe I'm just nitpicking.
I think the best figure for 2012 was wonder woman. The figure had a new hairpiece, a new head, new torso and new dual molded legs with side printing. And a new gold lasso piece.
I'd definitely pick Wonder Woman for 2012. Just the legs alone was a huge leap forward in what could be done with printing. And dual-molding didn't exist yet, it was all done with prints.
The mr freeze face print point doesn’t really hold up cuz you ignored how there was at least 3 freezes, all with unique face prints between the most recent and first freeze. Granted I still don’t like the new freeze because like a bunch of recent reiteration of figures, they are trying to look like some very specific weird version of the character. Like why is mr freeze wearing a fricken cold suit tank-top? If you asked me either the juniors freeze or the 2013 ones are both solid options.
I think another great one is the Lego Batman movie one
Harley for 2020 and not one of the figs from the Dc Minifigure series like Metamorpho or Cyborg. Heck I would say most of those figs from that series are better than that Harley figure.
2:32 ...There weren't any minifigures from 2009 or 2010 because that was the "dark age" period when the DC Super Heroes theme wasn't created yet and the original Lego Batman theme was just recently discontinued after the final 4 sets for it came out in 2008.

I’d say best of 2012 is two face and best of 2013 is bane, but totally agree that joker is great. I also loved the new big tumbler Batman
I think my favorite DC fig right now is FireFly from the 76117 set. I only wish it had leg printing tho

I agree with Talia being the worst of her year. And for one simple reason. Dark red plastic.
I bought the set she’s in and her legs literally crumbled when I tried to move them.
Lego needs to show DC more love, and lord knows I’m not talking about Batman. We need some justice league sets with characters we’ve never seen. But I guess marvels too busy getting every set
Rock monster big fig with some face printing could make a great clay face
I actually really like the Mr. freeze figure, I mean I understand your criticisms he’s just a blue body I think it would’ve been better if we had some printing but I still really like his face print. And I would say Nightwing is the best figure of 2007 I just love his hair and he’s still my favorite Knightwing up-to-date, the Nightwings haven’t really improved that much.

I would say figure out what you like most about LEGOs and start making videos about that. Is it minifigures? A certain theme? MOCs? Set reviews? Make videos about what you know and what you like. You'll find it the easiest way to start.

The year the dark knight sets came out there was the amazing comishoner Gordon and of course Heath ledger
The Commissioner Gordon figure is pretty darn good
9:49 that's not a custom hairpiece. You try to come across as though you know everything about LEGO but end up making yourself look stupid. And don't even say it's different because of the colours, that is not what everyone defines as an exclusive part
Oh there's no way I know everything about LEGO haha! Plus, I'm pretty good at making myself look stupid. That hair piece, with that print work on it, was used only for two figures, both of which were Harley Quinn. Granted, like you said, the actual mold was pre-existing, but Bricklink defines the part as it's own piece, not a recolor of another part. So, I'd consider it custom as it was created exclusively (as of now) for Harley.

Couldnt put it better myself about the detail part! I like details on minifigures but it shouldnt Tire your eyes. Like sam captain america minifigure, it have too many details but it doesnt exhaust your eyes at all

Ryan, who would you say is the worst in 2016 and 2020, and all the years with the more generic and less "comicy" figures? I worded that pretty weird so let me explain.
Alot of the characters you put in the worst section are just generic looking characters, and that obviously would make them bad. What I want to know is who is the worst that looks like a comic character, not an average Joe.
The best 2020 or 2021 (whatever) fig imo was the Batman that came in the accessory set. It’s a modernized Lego version of Batman’s classic grey and black suit he wears in nearly every damn comic and it looks like a modern 2006 Batman fig. It’s perfect and should have came in more sets
I don’t agree with 2017 twoface is a close second but the best has to go to poison Ivy from the Lego Batman movie

I actually think the newer Heath Ledger joker is better than the original with all the great printing for the shirt/vest design, I wish he was on this list as well

I don’t think I’ve a “bad” minifig in my DC collection because I simply didn’t collect a lot of LEGO since building new sets in 2014. However, I’m glad that I still have the Heath Ledger Joker from the first Tumbler iteration, as well as two Michael Keaton Batman. Yes, I’ve the 1989 Batmobile and Batwing. The one thing that I don’t like about the Keaton Batman is that it is one of generic heads for Batman. They made the same mistake in 2021 for the remake of the Tumbler so 2014’s Batman Begins’ Batman is still pretty amazing on its own.
I do appreciate the new Scarecrow minifig from 2021 since he is, much like Killer Croc, underused. Granted, I prefer Scarecrow over Joker.
The reverse flash is nowhere near the worst figure. He’s fucking perfect, especially after waiting so long to get him
My favorite dc minfigure is either deadshot or killer croc from 2006
What I will say is that some of the Lego Batman Movie lego character models are the peaks of those lego designs of some of them. For example, I think the Bane, twoface, Scarecrow, Batgirl, and Killer Croc might be their peaks but thats not saying much for some because their other models looked kind of bad for todays standards but that IMO

The Michael Keaton Batman mini figure is my favorite.
So I kinda did something. I totally agree with the micheal Keaton batman it's a fantastic figure.. except for one. One. TINY LITTLE NITPICK. it's that where the bat symbol meets his body. You can't really see the full. Body like it needed a centimeter mode to make it 👌 perfect. That's when I found an old neck piece from a thing of arrows. And I cut a circle out to take off the arrows. And I swear to God it is exactly what it needed that little push. It makes him taller. And in my opinion more of a threat but yet again that's my opinion

That new Heath Ledger joker from the big tumbler looks awesome and so does the Batman on that one. I think the best Batman was the one from the Arkham series that came with that horrendous tumbler edition, probably best DC figure of all time. The Jack Nicholson Joker is better than the Harley figure imo. All in all it’s a good list.
I count The Batman sets as 2022 releases so I’d say the worst of this year would be the Batman Minifigure, everyone agrees that there should’ve been a new cowl and overall they fail to differentiate him from other Batman Minifigs, which sucks since he’s my favorite iteration of the character in a film.
I believe they released in 2021 in the US, but 2022 in other countries. And yeah a new cowl would've helped

2007 bane needed to be a big fig. Then it wouldn't have been on the list. You said no big figs so quit being unfair. Your basically saying bane would look better as a big fig but the big fig version isn't on the list
You raise a fair point, the figure we got for Bane wasn’t great to begin with, but the LEGO Batman Movie big fig just shows how awesome the character is.

Ahhh I gotta disagree with your worst pick for 2008 Mr freeze was my favorite and most wanted of that wave and the hardest for me to get. All my friends wanted him too and his set was incredibly hard to find in my area. On top of that when the newer version of him came out I actually refused to upgrade for a while because of how much I liked the original and even to this day I still sometimes decide to display my original over the new one. He's simple but just iconic to me
Also I didn't even know he had a 2019 release and omg that one is awful especially in comparison to his 2013 one

For some reason I can’t find similar opinions but… Hot take: I really dislike Lego Batman movie minifigs. They look good from the minifig standpoint, but from the Batman… I feel like they’re too goofy for their own good. I can’t rea side with two face being one of the best ones. I was always a fan of the og 2006 two face and I just can’t make myself like newer two faces. The movie one stranded too far from the og in my opinion, many figs did. I know they’re probably based on some comics but still, it’s my opinion.
I am a fan of Batman theme because it was edgy and cool with its villains and Batman tech. Now tho… when I look at movie series and see a fairy Batman… I feel like “look how they massacred my boy” theme
I have to say, I don’t think a big fig is a good look for bane. Way too damn big I would like I mid fig similar to Mr incredible if you really do want bane to be a big guy
