He moved to LA, started producing Lil Romeo and got super corny. If anything Pimp C just felt betrayed because Master P went that far all because Pimp wanted to own the masters to a song that he helped create and literally produce. Pimp helped make the beat and all.

Pimp C got off light....that's why he never officially released that No Limit diss song officially, it leaked years later after his death. Money=Power and P had the most, and did the most with his label than any other Southern record company...second to CMR, also from New Orleans.
