Geode resin coasters
I used Dalchem Crystal Clear to make these resin coasters. I also used mica powders and pigment pastes by Le Rez, Art tree creations and Pixy Dust.

Don't worry about stopping for us, sweetie. If someone doesn't like it, it's their problem. Pretty, love the sparkle.
Well I think they are absolutely beautiful.
You set up such a beautiful display for the finished products!!!
YES ABSOLUTELY LOVE the colors!!!!
I absolutely love all of your creations. Good or bad..Absolutely stunning...
Beautiful 😍 😍 😍 😍 😍 😍 😍 😍 me encanta todo lo que haces 🤗🤗🤗
They are beautiful!
They’re lovely
Super color!
Awesome coasters!
Very pretty.
Think they are beautiful!
They are quite nice
Your presentations of your final projects in art gallery worthy.
Blue or turquoise, beautiful, beautiful! That's the problem when you know what you want, you're not satisfied when it doesn't meet your expectations! These are different from the others you have done, and the colors work so well together! They have their own style. Love how you keep trying new things. Thanks so much for sharing! Take care and stay safe!
Blue and Silver always look good together in any combination of colors. :) Maybe it's just me, but I actually kinda prefer the tops, not the backs. The whole piece is beautiful though and it's nice to see you moving to rocks and not glitter. The glitter just seems to clump in the middle and makes a mess. The stones look more natural.
Pretty!
I'm using a 3:1 resin which is very fluid when mixed and absolutely no bubbles at all during mixing or pouring.
Those are very pretty. This may seem silly to say, but they are calming. I really enjoy the way you stage, you certainly have any eye for it. Thanks for sharing.
I really like watching you make coasters and flowers
Lovely Julie and the colour is turquoise on my phone. I prefer the back too.
I like them
That is one beautiful starfish. It matches beautifully. All the coasters are beautiful. Hard to pick a favorite.
I love watching pigments melt into the resin, so I enjoy seeing you stir....
I get so carried away when working, I'd forget to stop the pausing of the video, lol. Adore both sides.
Beautiful 😁 and the dark edge is so beautiful that I didn't think I would have painted it with silver 🙏😁 but still love them ❤️
Omgosh Julie I love those, they are so gorgeous.
Love the color, very pretty.
I really like these .the colors are really pretty .
The thing i like about habdcrafted/homemade items ,is that each one is unique ,which in my opinion make them that much more prettier.
Wow, my favorite so far! 😍💎💎💎
This one has to b my fave so far
Gosh! These are really beautiful! The colors blend so nicely! 💕
Hi Julie, these coasters are gorgeous. Nailed it again! Thanks for sharing.
I just love them and the color. Going to try to make me some. Thank you so much for this video.
Hi Julie, I love them! Turquoise is one of my favorite colors!
Love the color. They are a pretty terquoise on my screen. And with mine, I found they're prettier than they appear in a picture. Good job
Those are really pretty, I love your little photo shoots at the end. We're a photographer, you do them so professional 😃
I have just tried the 'Epsom Salts Method' really pretty Julie x
Try placing your blanks on contact paper this should hold them down so that the silicone doesn't slip under your blanks. After you have them stuck down, spray the whole thing with mold release before pouring on the silicone. Hope this helps with the little pieces.
Lovely 💙 Really fond of Blues Teals ~ worked on my first resin geode on 2 boards going to finish tomorrow got it in my hair OMGosh alcohol got it out always get it on me. Hope it turns out tried some of my mica powders that I use for soap they work just fine Nurture Soap has a nice selection Thanks Julie always enjoy your videos 💗
I always forget to tie up my hair, forever dipping the ends in the resin, have got to the point of wiping as much off with baby wipes, then letting it set and bend the hair until the resin sort of cracks off, if you get what I mean
They look turquoise to me and very pretty.
You dropped some white on that one edge,. I went back and looked. 😚Pretty blue ones.
Love love love them. They look so beautiful. I wonder if you use your skewer to move the resin into the edges, if it would work better, pop some bubbles and not disrupt as much as the sticks do. I know you have to be careful not to scratch the mold so would suggest using the other end which is still smaller than the stir sticks. I also wonder, rather than pouring so much of your clear directly on top of your sparkles, could you pour more around them? That way they would not be so dispersed, which I have heard you worry over or not like that they spread so much. These are just thoughts that ran through my mind on other times as well and thought you would prefer that I voice them to you. 😊 ❤
I love these even though you don't lol. I think they are beautiful 😍
Have you ever seen Ace Resin? They did molds with magnets the other day absolutely amazing and beautiful. But I love 💕 what you do! My studio is out side so I have to wait till it cools down, to do resin. I live in St Augustine Fl so I have to wait till Nov lol 😆
These are gorgeous, I’ve been wondering with this thick resin what about pouring all clear then dropping spots of alcohol ink in would this work? A different look , but your the expert
❤️🤗
Very pretty, they would look lovely with yellow centres, not sure if thats even possible with resin though, they backs definitely look the better of the 2 sides
Color the glass yellow! Or use a chunky yellow glitter.
Very, very pretty and I love them waaay more without the sraeations (?). The backs came out reeeally nice I agree
Can you pour your resin over the back of a spoon to not disperse your glass? Much like you do when making colorful drinks.
I really like that Teal blue color, but Im like you teal should be a greenish color I thought. But they are beautiful !
Let me know when the molds are what you expect and are sending them out. I purchased one middle of July looking forward to getting it when you say they are ready and right by you.
Have your table leveled
might nothave been what you weregoing forgot theyarelovely.. dont throw them away!!
They look baby blue on my end, but I’m on an IPad. Gonna try my TV big screen.
Wasn’t it an ink that gave you the striations before? Maybe I’m remembering wrong. Love these colors.
You seem to have a pretty aggressive allergy to resin. I’ve handled resin with my bare hands, both the curing type and UV curing type with no reaction at all. Be careful not to breathe directly over the cups while stirring. You sure don’t want to breathe any of that into your system. Love the videos!
Julie these are beautiful color. Love them. Now do you put cork or something on the backs of these? And is the paint your using on the sides, can you wash them without the paint fading?? Thank you in advance.. have an amazing day..
Bumpers :)
Do you finish your coasters in anyway to prevent the painted edges from rubbing off? I made my first geode coaster and my painted edges get rubbed off with use.
I would love to know what silicone you use to do the molds. I would buy one from you but I know it would expensive to send to the US
Jill, hi I live in Virginia in USA I am subscribed to your channel for quite some time now. I’m an admirer of your art work. I thought you genius for this coaster mold . I would love to buy one if your willing to sell one or two maybe 3 . I have 2 grandchildren that would love to do this with me . I’m a Artist as well but a Painter and doable in crafts . I do have so primary elements just waiting to be used , lol . Please let me know the details , by the way , Good Stuff !
I am also in VA!
Julie I'm wondering if part of the problem you're having with that resin is it seems to have a lot more bubbles in it it but that's just me observing this and the other flower you made that it seems to retain bubbles it would be great for like trying to make something thick and sturdy that stays in one place but not something transparent like your coasters I'm still trying to learn and I think that you do fantastic work even though you're not happy with these they're beautiful but I definitely can see more bubbles both in the sides as your painting and in the other the other flower in the clear as you held it up anyway just still a fan and I'm sending you my support
From where I can buy the mold please?
Gorgeous coasters. How much are you selling the coaster mold for? I'm interested in one. Thanks.
How do you cleN out your measuring cups? And have you ever had resin cure in them?
I use disposable cups
Sorry I meant the giant cup 🤦♀️ the resin jug lol
hello, please tell me, what are the sparkles in the middle? thanks
Crushed glass
Perhaps using alcohol ink in your second color would give you more striations..??
She can't use alcohol ink as it would strip the colour off her glitter glass.
Those are incredible! And it looks like the dark color stayed on the outside!
Hi Julie I don’t mind the imperfections on the molds I would love to get one
Would like to purchase your moulds if possible
How much would you sell this coaster for as is?
And Jill I don’t mind that the molds may not be perfect
It looks like it's not going to let me watch because it's stuck on the advertisement and it's just froze boo
