    The bible is the inerrant Word of God, on this channel we believe that the Bible is the truth. Although it was written by 40 different human authors, there was one common ghost writer and that is The Holy Spirit which inspired all of them. This channel tries to stay away from theology but instead focuses on a unique Bible Study approach by connecting the bible as a whole book using tools such as typology, parallelisms, and multiple-layered contextualized connections. Yes, God can operate on different levels at the same time, to mean more than one thing at the same time.
    I enjoy a deep dive Bible Study, and always will cite scripture to back up the conclusions.

    Good lesson. Words have such powerful meaning in the scriptures. We walk by faith and not by sight. So here is something else to consider about *words* .......
    Let's look at two of our *senses.* Our eyes and our ears. We normally think of both "seeing" and "hearing" as physical senses. And they are. But the bible handles these a little differently. And it can be a bit complicated since they are both used figuratively. For example, a person can "see with the eye" or "hear with the ear" and still not perceive the truth with either one. But compare the following two verses carefully. They both involve the physical senses........
    "While we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal." 2Cor 4:18
    "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." Rom.10:17
    Paul tells us that the things which can be seen with the *optical eye* are temporary. And the unseen things are eternal. But Paul NEVER said that about the things which are *heard.* Why? Because *words* are heard. And Jesus said His *words* are spirit. And the *word of God* is eternal.
    You might object here and say that words can also be seen, i.e. the written word. But from a biblical perspective, this is not the case. Only the *symbols* are seen. The idea, the thought, or the truth, of any word came first. And it was first the "spoken word of God." God never wrote anything for Abraham that we know of. Nor did He ask Abraham to write anything down. The written language and symbols came later. The book of Genesis covers the first 2500 years of biblical history. But there is not much in Genesis about "reading" or "writing."
    Blessings

    • @connectingthebible-deeperb5680
      @connectingthebible-deeperb5680  Před 2 lety +1

      I like that perspective and it has me thinking about Jesus and the blind man from Bethsaida in Mark 8. This is the only healing Jesus had to do twice, because the first time the blind man saw men walking around like trees. There is a deeper significance to that, but will take some studying.
      Thanks for the thoughts, I even like the oral history part of Genesis being emphasized. And I agree they did pass these stories down from generation to generation. So there was no written word or pictographic symbols only the words of the stories. Good insight. Blessings

  • @avoiceinthewilderness5766

    On a Catholic cross there's an inscription of four Latin letters INRI. It's an acronym for Iesus Nazarenus Rex Iudaeorum. Meaning Jesus Nazarene King Judea. It was also written in Hebrew. And if we had cruises with these for letters as an acronym it would be YHWH, YESHUA HANATZIR WAMELK HAYAHUDIM. Daniel was instructed to hide the pictographic language and replace it with the block script. This has recently (within three last one hundred years) come to the surface. In learning this Adamic language you can see so much. And his name was Yad-Shin-Waw-Aiyn. And there's a reason......

      @connectingthebible-deeperb5680  Před 2 lety +2

      I haven't studied the pictographic language that was the precursor for Hebrew in depth. Do we know that it could be called an Adamic language? Could there have been another language before Babel and pre-flood?

      @@connectingthebible-deeperb5680 The pictographs are what was hidden. They reveal many things. Example: Cain or Qin in Hebrew is a picture of Quf- The sun in the horizon, or the back of there head. {Also the only letter in the block script that faces east} Yad- The right hand {meaning to do an action it work} Nun- a fish or a seed { meaning life, inheritance, off spring} .. I'm glad you made this video Hebrew is a Key to the kingdom. The letters value, the "correct" pronunciation (Jews have messed up a lot of "our" language) The pictures.... You may know these two, but I'll put them down anyway. Father, or Ab is a picture of an Ox head and a picture of a house/floor plan of the house. Ox... Servant, strength, willfull. Bith- House also meaning in. Dad is the servant, strength, whose will gets done for and to the house... Mom Aleph-Mem Ox Head and water... Both start with an Ox head but mom has water... Interesting. What are your ideas on the reason for water?

    • @connectingthebible-deeperb5680
      @connectingthebible-deeperb5680  Před 2 lety +2

      @@avoiceinthewilderness5766 This does fit into something I've been studying. And you have to go back to Genesis. The second day God separated the waters above and below the firmament/sky/heaven. Then on day 3 he gathered all the waters together to reveal land. Then when He creates the man in chapter 2, he comes out of the ground. Adam's father was God, but his mother(the person he came out of) would be considered earth.
      I did a set of videos, Pentecost, 2 Pillars and then 2 Witnesses which looked at repeated parallels and it used those parallels to identify future things like The Witnesses and Babylon. I believe that Babylon is earth itself. You'd have to watch the videos to see how I got there.
      But the key things is that Babylon sits on many waters, just like earth is 70% water. Revelation even references Babylon as sitting like a queen. If you study late Genesis 1, that Adam was supposed to be the King of the earth and have dominion, but obviously somehow Satan took the Kingship away from Adam(I know how but that is for later). So with that knowledge you would know that earth could be considered queen mother since Adam came out of her. And that is why the Southern Kingdom has special importance on the mother of all the Kings and sat them right beside the Kings.
      So if the pictogram has mother with water, then that is what comes to my mind. Adam's mother(earth) was first water as land appeared from her and then mankind.

      @@connectingthebible-deeperb5680 Thank you for that reply. That was a really beautiful interpretation.
      The letter MeM water has so many revelations. It is where we are carried inside our mom before we are both into the matrix. The waves of it have to do with our lives, up and down turbulent and still. The waves of it have to do with sound and brain waves vis a vis the mind and learning. The mind can be chaos and still. Shalom ends in a final MeM. Enclosed and still. I believe this is what Jesus said when he calmed the waters. The enclosed MeM is the last letter of God's power title El'Heyim. The mom is strength, servant, to the waters. Which can bring life, learning to or minds, and can bring chaos. Light travels in waves. Sound travels in waves. MeM being written as waves is a carrier, a medium. If the stronger of the Oxen follows Yeshua and the other is in step then the home will be provided for in all ways and be Shalom.
      I have really enjoyed your videos. God has given you eyes to see much. God separates then He fills with life.
      Shalom brother.

    While the Bible calls it a great fish, that great fish was a whale. We know because Jesus called it a whale. Matthew 12:40. Even as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; Don't be afraid to call it a whale. Speak like Jesus.

    • @markwildt5728
      @markwildt5728 Před 8 měsíci +1

      You realize Jesus didn't speak English right? Not all translations of Matt 12:40 use the word Whale. What Jesus said in the original texts was 'ketous' which literally means sea monster, or huge sea fish. Whale is a more modern English translation. Also, it's important to note that when the Bible refers to animals after their kind, it's not congruent with our modern, arbitrary classification system. We consider Whales to be "mammals" because they breathe oxygen and give live birth. But I would imagine before our modern classification of taxonomy, which is again based on completely arbitrary characteristics, the Whale would have been considered a Sea Creature or a Fish, through the majority of history. People, both atheists and believers alike need to stop putting so much emphasis on modern English words, and are current understanding on things when referencing the texts of the Bible. So not only did Jesus NOT call it a Whale, but it wouldn't ultimately make a difference either way, because it would still fit the characteristics of the word 'ketous'.

    • @Samwiser71
      @Samwiser71 Před 8 měsíci

      I agree it wouldn't matter what it was called, yet while you say modern translations, there are translations from the 1500's and even the 1300's that say whale. You may, but I don't call that modern English words. I figure that even the modern translators mean well and probably do the best they can. A person would do well to let the Spirit of God lead them. His teaching is always correct. The way I see it, a whale is a, as you say, a sea monster or huge sea fish. The main part is that Jonah was in the whale's belly because of his rebellion against God. Jesus used that as an example that he would be in the heart of the earth, for a different reason I might add. So though Jesus did not speak to the people in English when he walked the earth that I am aware of, he speaks to us in English today! I'm glad the Gospel is for every people, every kindred, every tongue. That you Jesus. @@markwildt5728
