    Make it easy on yourself and put those doors an a sawhorse. Plus, there are fewer problems with runs when flat.

    Was thinking to go tomorrow to get one of these, i tried rolling primer on 6' wood fence planks was a disaster i layed them side by side next day i checked them out they was sticking together like glue habing to break them apart then having to scrap of overrun primer on sides was horrible so now that i got them cleaned up want to give this thing a try, how much water do you add in with the paint if i need to? I nought gliden premium exterior satin paint im hoping dont gave to add water just fill the tank & start spraying, i have 232 6' wooden planks to paint it will be much easier using the sprayer i would guess rather then rolling it on that would have to be separately if the sprayer doesnt work for me.

      If it’s new paint, you shouldn’t need to add water. Our paint was a year old and needed a bit of thinning. But in the instructions that come in the box, it does instruct you to do a viscosity test so I would definitely do that first to make sure you are ready to go! That way you don’t have to do anything over again. I think you are going to love the sprayer! Good luck with your project!

    I just recently bought one of these because it was on sale for like $39 I think. I was going to try to use it to paint a bed room or bathroom, do you think that can be done with this sprayer? I saw a couple different heads at the store but I did not buy any extra, just the one that came with it.

      Oh absolutely! We plan to use it to repaint our office soon. You’ll just want to have everything taped off really good and make sure your floors are protected. But it sure beats using a brush or roller!!

      @@SecondMileDIY Do you think the nozzle that comes in the box is okay to use or do you suggest a different one? I think I only saw 1 or 2 on the shelf at Harbor Freight next to the sprayer.

      We actually didn’t even know there were different nozzles. We used what it came with and that seems to work great! But now I’m curious so I’m definitely going to check that out next time I’m there. Good luck with your project!

    Actual speed when painting would be helpful. Were you actually moving slowly?

    • @SecondMileDIY
      @SecondMileDIY  Před 3 měsíci

      Oh yes, very slowly! I guess that would be a good thing to point out. We are hoping to finish staining our fence this weekend. I will make sure we get some video of that process so we can show you!

    How is the over spray?

    • @SecondMileDIY
      @SecondMileDIY  Před 4 měsíci +1

      We didn’t notice much overspray, but we did have the plastic drop cloth out, to protect the surroundings. And we were spraying pretty close to the object.
      This is a great question though! We are going to restain our fence in 2 weeks, using the paint sprayer and we’ll be doing a video over it. I will make sure to get some close ups as we spray, so we can see it in action!

      Does it matter what type of paint you are using like all in one or high gloss?

    • @thatdude610
      @thatdude610 Před 25 dny

      I normally use blinker fluid.
