thanks for sharing insight , I am working as a Senior Data Scientist currently for last 1.5 years , before that i was data scientist for 4 years. Most of my day to day job are for creating demand forecasting planning , classification and regression problems. I am thinking to learn NLP , do you think i should start to learn GPT models API interfacing without learning NLP or NLP would help me to navigate as GPT or LLM expert easily? LLM and GPT are pretrained models on quintillions of data, you can only use then as an API, you can't retrain or customize them like traditional NN/ML models to tweak to meet our requirements. They are like chat applications focused.
To learn NLP, you can use chatGPT, and start customizing applications using API. There is nothing like expert in LLM, bcoz Google, OpenAI are the experts developing those, if one has enough money and team (millions of dollars to train LLM's) only then it's worth to invest.

SAP fico is a broad field and it takes 4-5 years of hard learning in real-time projects. This is hard to come by at your age.
Will advise you to take up part time business like GST filing, Tally, ITR filing, accounts for small scale industries.

How many projects in indian service industry having in AI is the question. Majority of the projects are support project with Java etc. with legacy system. They will be there for another 10 years.
As long as Indian service industry concern no need to worry. AI project will come for support after 20 years in India. By the time we have plenty of AI programmer ( learn AI in 1 month course etc) in india to support it.
Can I choose prompt engineer as a carrier?
Hi Jayasekhar, It is too early to choose it as a career option. You should look at Generative AI at a larger level and see what all you can learn and then choose a role. Prompt engineering can be one part of your overall AI skillset.
Farming, diary work, organic farming, chicken 🐔🍗, many other works no end no AI no ML ... Nobody stop you 😞😭 better shift as early as possible 🙏
The problem with people in india is they consider all that above topics careers of divisive labor in society...they just want white collar jobs that only comprise of chit chat with collegues and get back home..yet get paid 😂

It's not normal low level coding that anyone can learn without any background. You have to be good at graduation level maths, stats, calculus etc..if not you will just be talking management level craps, just buzzword. I am sure, most of students passed out of 3rd rated engineering college never had aptitude to understand these subjects, so no point running after buzzword
