    Ideas for New Species Packs
    1) Amphibians (Blend of Reptilian and Aquatic with less advantages and disadvantages overall)
    2) Gaseous (A new take on aquatics but with heavy air dependency, can possess lesser qualities found in other established species, including Ammonia or Methane Life)
    3) Energetics (Beings that evolve on a very close planet to a sun or on a cool red dwarf or brown dwarf, similar to lithoids but with energy dependency)
    4) Mycetozoans (Not just slimes but also Amoebas, some might consider this to be more Fungoids, except Slime isn't a Fungus, it is a separate Kingdom of Life from the former grouping of Protista, I suppose they would be blend of Fungoid and Molluscoid)
    5) Annelids (Worms, good idea to have if you are going to include parasitic mind controlling worms, blend of Necroid and Molluscoid).
    6) Chromista (Blend of Mycetozoa and Plantoids)
    7) Ammonia Life (Similar to Aquatics but with Ammonia, think of the Logans from Polaris Sector as an example)
    8) Methane Life (Similar to Aquatics but with Methane). These lifeforms tend to have large protruding airsacks on their body or face which they use to breathe with.
Ideas for Modifying Existing Species Packs:
    1) Humanoids - Essentially humanoids are most customizable species in order to reflect the human character in a custom character. So you can make them be like any other species with less of a boon, but with more other points and picks available for futher customizability.
    2) Mammalian - What makes mammals what they are is their ability to take care of their young (albeit they aren't exactly special for this) and metabolism. Mammals adapt quickly and work proficiently to get a task done, making them skilled laborers. Therefore, Mammalians have an advantage in both output from laborers and specialists (since being good parents tends to produce better skilled offspring). For the negative, Mammalians are harder to manage (when they are not a hivemind) and they require more food. They are also more likely to pollute their environment and can be more prone to making mistakes. So even though you can advance faster and have a more robust economy with Mammalians, you will have a more costly population as well as more potential problems with negative situations that could happen as well as a greater need to develop cleaner technologies or practices to offset the pollution.
+ Environmentally Adaptive (Makes new subspecies in new environments after a few generations)
    + Proficient Workers
    + Better Specialists
    - Increased difficulty in Management
    - Further difficulty in Management brought by new subspecies
    - Increased need for Food
    3) Reptilian - What makes Reptilians what they are is their fierce strictly Reptilian brains and being ectotherms which have a huge advantage adaptability in any tropical like environment. Since this would make it difficult to customize a species for any environment. I would say they have better overall advantages in the same environment they deem most agreeable for them with heavy disadvantages in any other environment. So home environment specialization and fierce combat prowess. Do know you can use fierce fighters in more applications than just going all military such as being better police or environmental wardens/rangers.
    + Environment Specialists
    + Fierce Fighters
    - Less Adaptability to New Environments
    - Less Ability to Recover between engagements
    4) Avian - Avians are more like a blend of Reptilian or Mammalian, a best of both worlds without being as good the other. They have a smaller advantage living in the same environment as their homeworld as compared to Reptilians, while also having increased metabolism short of mammalians. They also have ability to take care of their young (albeit a smaller population growth since Avians will kill the weak to only have a certain number of spring).
+ Proficient Specialists (As much of a boon as it is for Mammalians)
+ Semi-Proficient Workers (Not as much of a boon as it is for Mammalians)
+ Semi-Environment Specialists (Not as much of a boon as it is for Reptilians)
    - Lowered Population Growth
    - Semi-Increased need for Food (not as much of a nerf as it is for Mammalians)
    - Semi-Less Adaptability to New Environments (Not as much of a nerf as it is for Reptilians)
I pretty much guessed on the next three just to make them somewhat unique and realistic concerning what these species groups should be like.
    5) Arthropoid
    + More Population Growth
+ Environmentally Adaptive (Makes new subspecies in new environments after a few generations)
    - Less-Proficient Specialists
    - Management issues can rise up from having multiple subspecies
    6) Molluscoid
    + More Population Growth
    - Less-Proficient Specialists
& Lesser degree of advantages and drawbacks from 1 to 3 other species groups.
    7) Fungoid
    + More Population Growth
+ Better Environmental Controls (Less Pollution)
    + Environment Specialists
    - Less Adaptability to New Environments
    - Less-Proficient Specialists
    - More need for Food

Anyway, not to be that guy, but just figured I'd share if you're interested. Guide was great, it's very helpful that you go over the changes efficiently, giving us the freedom to pause and read if necessary (or go find out if you've been saying ecumenopolis wrong all this time).
