I also used a small paint cap to do the tiny bubbles. Anything with a smooth edge works really well.

I'm so glad! The bubbles is one of my favorites, it's so simple but the results look great.
I saw your other comments too and wanted to respond, but now I can't find them. 😅 But don't worry if some of your paintings don't work out. I have paintings all the time where one mistake can mess up the whole thing. One thing about traditional art is there's no "delete" button, unfortunately.
The painting you were working on was the mountains, right? If you wanted I could give you some tips on how I did the snow if that might help.

When I do spattering like that, I thin out my paint with a little water first. Then I dip my toothbrush in water and tap off the excess on a paper towel before putting paint on the brush.
It also helps to do some test spatters on a palette or scrap paper first. That way you know they will look okay before you start putting them on your painting.

Wow!! You make these look so easy and effortless! Awesome job. I enjoyed very much watching you paint! That planet one I was amazed at! I have tried trees so many times and juat can not get them right! I have bought 12 different brands of brushes and used different brands paints, I just can't get it. The branches get to fat.
Sorry it took me so long to respond! Thank you so much, I'm so glad you enjoy my paintings! When I paint branches, I thin the paint with a little water. That helps a lot when painting all kinds of small details.
