  • Welcome to DESIGN SEED!
Today’s we will bringing you in a tour of a PAM Centre.
    What is green building?
A ‘green’ building is a building that, in its design, construction or operation, reduces or eliminates negative impacts, and can create positive impacts, on our climate and natural environment.
The entire architecture is build with simplicity at its best, no fancy curves, no wastage or materials or dead corners, every space has its purpose.
Sustainability is not just about preserving greens but a commitment to enable an environment where greenery is. simply about living it.

No wonder it look similiar. My hostel was in the front of this building. I watched this building being built few years ago every day from my room. Love the noise ha ha ha. The final result look awesome though

malaysia architects and designers have honed this tropical architecture style so so well. have not seen another place which does it so well like this (very focused and objective)

Great sustainable design concepts often neglected due to the maximisation of profits based on net saleable or rentable space. These concepts should be enshrined by government building regulations of every nation.

Very lovely. Hope there's accessibility for people with disabilities though -- that staircase not very helpful if you've limited mobility.

It's commendable to construct green buildings to save energy and incorporate vegetation- something that has been done in Singapore for several decades. The video could have shown more of the actual office spaces and how they relate to the highlighted design features. Much of what was shown, such as the stairways and recess areas, seemed 'industrial' in appearance and rendered spartan and incomplete in the manner of a multi level carpark building. Perhaps the use of exposed concrete is more a tribute to economy than minimalist aesthetics. But what about revealing the conventional means of access provided by elevators or escalators (if any)?- surely required for universal access by the less fit or disabled. And who actually occupies this building?

Please don't put up images of animals / koalas suffering .. it took me many months to get past that when it happened, and now you've brought it all back .. I will have those images constantly in my mind for weeks now and the pain won't cease
