A day in the life offshore | Field engineer | oil & gas | rig life

As a field engineer, we spend a few days to one month working in shift on our specialised operation to complete our part of services. We work along side rig team who contributes their hard works, and those other services team and client to achieve our goals.
This vdo is dedicated to all oil&gas workers who spend their life working offshore far from home and family. It takes a lot of courage and contribution to get our jobs done out there with such challenging work physically and mentally. It’s a false depiction of working offshore, since 1975 worked offshore around the world. The only country I found treated everybody equally has been Denmark & Norway. If not a company man She’ll BP, ONGC, Pemex you are treated as a threat class citizen. I have stayed in accommodation more like dormitories 16 men to a room, changed rooms every day. Food company men first, then contractors followed by vendors. I works for a GT supplier during commissioning they want availability 24 hrs a day a week. My last job offshore Shell Russia, same old, same old multiple changes in accommodation, last to eat & 24 hr. Over as the company men were incompetent.
