I had stopped watching Church Militant mainly because the heaviness of the news was not good for my mental health. Over the past two years I’ve been dealing with some stressing circumstances myself. This news comes to me as a shock. It always hits me hard when a public Catholic figure falls, whatever the fall, doesn’t matter. I will certainly pray.

My mom and dad always prayed immediately after dinner. They had 8 children. My parents underwent many trials and tribulations financial medical death of their own children.

I for one think your statement was100% necessary. As a matter of fact, I am of the opinion that CM ought to do something similar to your video. (If they have, I apologize, but I haven't seen it). They need to explain to their viewers whose VISION and LEADERSHIP CM will follow now that Michael Voris is no longer part of this apostolate. He was the FACE, the HEAD and the HEART of CM.

Long before this story broke I began having suspicions about Michael Voris based solely on his appearance. If a picture is worth a thousand words, holiness expresses itself through one's countenance. Although I am not a Catholic, I will never forget an incident when I was entering a grocery store years ago in the evening, and outside the entrance to that store were four Catholic nuns sitting at a table accepting donations to their mission. I am not prone to frequent visions, but on that particular evening I was shocked to see very real halos around their heads. It was amazing. I knew that they were godly, holy women in the service of Jesus.

Hope this means that going forward CM will show the same charity to others as they are showing to Michael Voris by not disclosing the ugly details that led to this. They have sure treated Voris in a different manner than others who have similarly fallen. They never took any pains to hide even the most sordid details before, so it does look like a double standard. Catholics need to pray, fast, and frequent the Sacraments. We have been given enough information to last a lifetime. Enough of the ugly and the disordered. Let us focus on the good, the true, and the beautiful, as the Bible tells us to do. I love CM but this message just hit so hard and close to home for me... My prayer life has dropped dramatically and I have been having such a hard time.. now I know why. @@twocyclediesel1280 He's open about being a "former" homosexual. But there is no such thing, in the exact same way that there's no such thing as a former psychopath. Never in the history of mankind has either condition ever been provably reversed.
So, Michael was clearly just caught in some kind of homosexual hijinx.
This bears mentioning and is important to put up front and highlight as a message to everyone that homosexuals cannot be changed and absolutely must not be put in any sort of leadership position. We already know from the priest abuse scandal that the lavender set does not change, and giving them a fresh start spells disaster.
What happened here with Church Militant was absolutely inevitable and needs to be a lesson to everyone that the only place for homosexuals in the Church is in the closet, and never ever in a public role.
Whatever Michael just got caught doing was almost certainly criminal, or it would not have received this reaction. Either prostitutes or boys are involved, who knows.

You are sooo right. Prayer is the foundation of everything. I stopped supporting Church Militant years ago when they began attacking the SSPX and things seemed to turn very negative at times with reporting. However, I will be forever grateful for Michael Voris in the very beginning being a light in such darkness and teaching me the faith. I always thought he should have take several years to heal and prepare himself for such an apostolate after leaving his sodomite lifestyle. When we lost in such a deep and dark sin it takes time to transform yourself, especially when you are to undertake such a huge enterprise as Church Militant. My hope is that he does that long term healing and seeks God's will for his life. God bless~

I came into the Church in 2005. I had discovered EWTN a few years earlier and I was a loyal viewer of Life on the Rock. and Fr. Corapi. Then came the fall of Fr. Francis Mary Stone on Life on the Rock and then Fr. Corapi. These two falls hit me really hard. However, it actually strengthened my faith in the power of evil and led me to lean on God more lest I too fall.

It is extraordinary. I'm not into kicking a man when he's down, but this man so often presented rumour as truth and never hesitated to malign individuals he clearly despised. He had a 'tabloid' tenacity when it came to identifying those he regared as 'sinners'. Yet, the CM board, and other close commentators, choose the arguably higher path, of respecting Vorris' privacy.

Michael overcame personal and private sin in the past, larger and more embarrassing than anyone I personally know could have faced. No doubt whatsoever he can do the same again. I know that I have benefited from his work, and failed to pray for him. He just seemed so strong. What a terrible thing for me to assume. None of us are strong. We need the armor of GOD.

Those afflicted with it are not good candidates to lead because of the scandal it could bring.

I have learned more about the church from Church Militant over the last 2-3 years that I’ve been consuming their writings and videos than I did my whole life in Catholic school and going to holy mass. There are some intentions I pray for more than others; the souls of my loved ones, for the church hierarchy, for the USA, for priests, my family, etc…but Michael and CM will likely be a part of that rotation, starting now. My man MV gets 5 decades tomorrow and at least a decade the next nine days. The guy taught me to approach being Catholic as if the world ends tomorrow. For that I will be forever grateful.

As soon as you start to think of yourself as spiritually special, or morally superior due to some enhanced capacity for compassion that others lack, or to want to reserve 'something for yourself alone' outside of God's plan, you are stepping outside of Grace and into pride, cynicism, and ultimately, despair and ruin. Prayer is how we align ourselves with Grace. We are sinners who depend utterly on the Lord. Utterly. All is Grace!

No, Michael can never come back to any position of visibility or responsibility. He's a homosexual, and he just proved why they can never be in any public position. They do not change, ever. They are a ticking time bomb. And if you know anything about the world, it is extremely clear that he was just caught doing something sexually illegal. Whatever he just did goes well beyond simply having a homosexual affair. I wouldn't be surprised if he were arrested. Regardless, what he has done needs to be made an example to everyone, especially naive people.

Christine I've been watching because of you, your warmth and constancy has been such a compass leading me back to prayer and Mass. My Mom has dementia and drove four states away to her brother's in VA last December abandoning her pets and home after several violent outbursts. I've been alone trying to fix the place up and care for these animals and working full time and operating a press manufacturing charcoal for use in incense censors in the Church for very little money and your segments on CM and Mass have kept me going. Please don't stop broadcasting do your own podcast I'll watch, a ton of us will. Michael I'm grateful that you founded CM I know you have your demons to face that's okay you can beat them we're praying for you! @@nifty1940 I live in Oklahoma and produce charcoal pucks using Potassium Chlorate from Sweden, Charcoal powder from Canada and Xanthan gum from Thailand. She drove to Virginia by way of Dalton GA because she's so out of it so really it was about a six state trip. She's with my uncle and he isn't talking to me, a very arrogant man. But my aunt tells me she needs an operation, at least he's well off enough to care for her but I'm worried of course. Thanks for the kind words, may God elevate and bless you.

I have learned a great deal listening to Church Militant. I appreciate and thank you for reminding how vital our daily prayer is. Our Lady has said many times that in these times we must stay connected to Her Son Jesus. Prayer is the vehicle to stay close.
