- Cristiano Ronaldo has said that the Saudi Pro League is a better standard of football than France's Ligue 1 and that he is still one of the world's best forwards.
Ronaldo was speaking at the Globe Soccer Awards in Dubai. "To be honest, I think the Saudi League is not worse than French league," he said. "I think right now we are better."
He said moving to Al-Nassr a year ago had been the right move. "This year I did a fantastic season, I was the best goalscorer. They typically kick off at temperatures of 36°C plus and the pace is very slow. Many of their matches look like testimonials.
They made a mistake, they should have built the air conditioned stadiums like they have in Qatar before inviting the stars from the European leagues over. I have also noticed an improvement in the domestic Qatar league now they are able to play football in modified air conditioned stadiums.

Not sure where did you get the information for the temperatures, according to Google the highest this week in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia will be about 29 that is normal in almost any European countries during the summer and the Saudi league rest during the summer.
@ademosthenes4911 Every occasion I've watched a game, I have looked up the current temperature. As simple as that. Up until mid December the temperatures have always been 30 Centigrade plus. It's very easy to check temperatures with the kick off times.
