The second guy you didn't recognize at 3:38 is a classic Link from Legend of Zelda. He's got the triforce on his shield and everything!

In the last Kingdom Rush Origins easter egg, the spear-thrower hedge is a reference to Ironhide’s first game, Rise of the Olympians. The other guy looks like certain versions of Link, to me, but I can’t be sure.
It is Link, if you look closely you'll see his hat.
And the symbol of the original legend of Zelda the first on the shield
The bush is definitely Link, but specifically I think it’s Link from A Link to the Past
Definitely Link because of the hat, sword and shield, but for 100% certainty, Link is originally left-handed in older games. And if you look at the bush carefully, you'll see he's carrying the sword with his left hand.
i think its the pose from Link to the Past after claiming the master sword
Is it rude of me to say that Kingdom Rush Origins shows more respect to Wile E. Coyote and Looney Tunes in general than Warner Bros. does?

There are actually two Easter eggs that Captain didn’t mention. At 2:04 you can see one deer and one little deer in the forest, referencing Disney’s Bambi and her mother. The other reference is the Ewoks from Star Wars you can find in the trees
I believe he's mentioned the Ewoks before, and the two deer referencing Bambi is sort of a stretch. Now, if you click on them and the mother deer gets shot, then most definitely. I'm pretty sure he's dedicated an entire episode to that game, so if it is a Bambi reference, he most likely mentioned it in that video.

@@swag4jag559 I'm not saying they wouldn't reference them, but Groot and Kermit are very specific looking characters. If you see them, you know it's them. You're talking about two deer in a wooded area being Bambi and his/her mother. To me that's a stretch unless the mother gets shot
The Crab plushie can also be seen in Dead Space (2023)
I recall seeing the familiar friend in one of the storage rooms across the Ishimura
All of the plushies he mentioned are in the Dead Space Remake
Also, the "Super Mario RPG" easter egg is a nicely returning one from the first RPG game as well and not only on the remastered, since you could do the same thing in the original game
However, it's kind of funny how he talks about a princess' life is pretty lonely at times, suggesting that what Mario found is her ... pleasuring device, and tells us that a youtuber's life can also be lonely at times just seconds later...
I can't believe the "new" Nintendo remade this great Easter Egg, one wouldn't expect them to

2:13 George of the Jungle was actually a Jay Ward Cartoon that got Adapted into a Fully-Fledged Film. George Smacking into Trees is actually a Running gag in that Cartoon.
Regarding the Super Mario RPG easter egg:
In the Japanese version of the original game, the item was labeled as Peach's XXX.
They altered it to make it a bit less obvious for the English version.

I really love this channel because of how much you cover and how you put real care into it all. Surprisingly the easter egg scene on youtube is filled with lame pranks still and just people covering the same thing over and over, or halfway covering it. You give us a lot and say what we think with the bonfires. Thank you for everything you do for easter eggs.

Well that was part of the questionnaire he did on what he could do to better his channel. He had started to cover the same games over and over again, so hopefully he covers more. I get not all games care about Easter eggs, but surely more do than just the 15 or so games he regularly covers

You are honestly my favourite Easter egg hunter on this platform, started watching these when I was finishing my final year in year 11 and now am currently working full time as a window fitter on new builds around York and Doncaster, I even remember the exact video I watched for the first time on your channel it was “ 12 of the best Easter eggs in the bioshock collection” so a whole 7 years ago I just remember it popping up on my home page and it had a couple thousand views so I decided to have a look at it considering bioshock was and still is one of my favourite video game series ever, and I’ve been here ever since, I know I’m A month late to this but hope you and your fam had a great Christmas cap, look forward to the many more years of Easter egg hunting 👌💯

i have a suggestion, theres this game called streets of rouge, in this game your main goal is to get to the final floor and become the new mayor by taking the current mayors hat
so depending on how you take the mayors hat, (stealing as a thief, murder, chloroform, etc) the game will have a slightly altered ending
also if you beat the game without any means of speaking you will get a special ending for that to
The crab plushie is also in the Dead Space Remake, often in storage rooms.

I love how your channel introduced me to my personal GOTY Hi-Fi Rush and there's no way I would have found it without this channel. During the BF42 holiday event, the vehicle radio will play Christmas music during the Xmas event, rather than the typical BF42 music.
A thing that should be mention about ESO's dark soul easter egg is that the knight is a ghost. Part of Dark soul's multplayer aspect was seeing a fellow player as a ghost doing whatever they are doing in their game. Since everyone needed to use the bonfires, you would often see someone's ghost sitting at the fire.

‘This guy’ (the 2nd unidentified bush from Kingdom Rush Origins) is more than likely Link from LoZ. I’ve seen his 8 bit sprite in that exact pose raising the master sword.
I kid you not I swear I remember seeing that elephant in Ryse Son of Rone in my playthrough a couple years back...

There is a similar thing to the Mario-drawer in Tales of Vesperia. You can dig through Rita's (your mage character) drawer near the beginning of the game and find something. She then gets embarrassed, but it's never explained.
