Ariel is teaching us all her secrets.
Arielle makes us part of her world! 😊👍👍
EXACTLY what I had thought too!! XD
She looks like Ariel mixed with Pippa Soo in my opinion.
XD
@Drew Reyansh you're bizarrely crazy
Don't mind me! Just gonna save some minutes for later practice and warm ups:
3:31 chest voice
4:32 head voice
5:56 mixing!
7:10 balance first passage
7:57 cry baby

I'm a queen not a princess sadly, so this video doesn't work with me
But good video I stan i stan 💅🏼
Slaaaaaaaaaay 😂😂😂😂
LOL
YESSSS QUEEN👑
Love that confidence😍❤️❤️
Yaaasss kweeen 😌💅
We found your channel a week or two ago and the first thing my wife said was "she looks like a Disney princess". You were clearly made to make this video. :)
I am honored! 😆 thank you!
Yup she does lol
I'm a Siberian man 192 cm tall and my weight is about 95 kg. After watching this video I want to learn how to sing like a Disney Princess.
It's will be funny at least =)
The last time I tried the police were at my door and asked if my wife was still alive.
Don't forget to Upload your perfomance to 4chan.
@@Dorahellmon666 Tortures are prohibited by UN convention =)
@@teardrop-in-a-fishbowl I'm divorced. By the way, Hannah is VERY similar to my ex-wife... almost "one face" in the upper part of the face... Same eyes, hair color, manners, movements & so on... It's VERY weird for me... Where is Siberia & where is the USA? They are on opposite sides of the Earth from each other, but such similarity with my ex-wife... like sisters.
I'm waiting every time when she starts to speak Russian =)
@@MaxGogleMogle Haha, sometimes I feel the same. It matters that we humans are so close to each other genetically (Caucasians and mixed). Maybe she has forgotten how to speak Russian.

Definitely sounding like a Disney Princess, your voice reminds me of Laura Osnes . I hope to see more videos like this, it helped a lot! I’ve been involved in musical theatre for 15 years and I recently began studying with a voice teacher.
Oh my goodness what a compliment! Thank you! And best of luck with your new teacher! 🤗
I literally cannot believe Laura Osnes is an actual human being like i think it’s illegal to be that talented
I was trained in instrumental music growing up and have always been so confused by singers despite always wanting to learn and this was the best video I've ever teaching singing at home, I can't wait for the singing 101 because this was so much fun to do for myself. Doing the exercises and practicing a bit gives me that feeling I've been missing since I don't play clarinet anymore and it's so rewarding, you're amazing!!! 🥰
I am so happy to hear it! Thanks for the support! 💗
I'm shaking, a heavingly sound just came out of my mouth and I do not believe that was me
Same!
Thank you for this lesson! Never thought I would ever be a disney princess, but maybe it's usefull some day. :-)
You have a very understandable way of teaching!! You could've used sohyang as another great example of this as she really is a disney princess.she's the official voice of Moana in the korean dubbed version & she sounds amazing. In an interview she said that she started to learn english by watching disney films
I didn’t know she was the voice of Moana in Korea! Very cool! She really is a real life princess!
The fact that this is Free in CZcams is astonishing, amazing. Thank you!!
I wanted a vocal teacher, was to shy to get one but now I am apparently her student. I say this is a win.

The struggles of being an alto
@@em387 We hate it here
I feel your pain
At least we can do the "i wanna be in the ROOOOOOOM" perfectly hahaha
hadestown is a good musical for altos lol
At least we can rap everything in Hamilton and screech ‘get down’ from SIX
hi you look like ariel when shes wearing her pink dress and i love it
A video I finally relate to! Because when I auditioned for Disney they said I was “Too Princessy”, and now they want like HECKA deep belters. I guess having a strong mix these days can also be a downfall 😂
Not during karaoke it isn't 😉
Could depend on who they were looking for at that audition. Elsa definitely needs a belt, compared to Ariel, for example.
Julie Poirier I was auditioning for Anna for The Hyperion show 😂 This was when they were like “We’re gonna make Anna belt in the show”
how di you audition?
@@MbasseySaho Same question
You are a real life Disney princess. You are incredibly pretty, extremely talented and such a sweet person. Thank you for blessing my CZcams and my life 🥺
I used to take voice lessons as a kid, but I was too shy and scared to continue. You're videos, especially this one, is reminding me how fun it was and how much I really miss the lessons/singing. Thank you
I love how you addressed mixing addressing some parts for more head-dominant singers who need to work on using chest voice more. I feel like most of the videos I've seen on mixing don't address this enough so this was really helpful!
My mom always said I couldn't sing. I worked in daycare with 0-6 year olds for over 5 years and it took me over a year before I could confidently and independently sing to the kiddos. I actually felt like I had a pretty singing voice after this video. If you see this, thank you!
I know so many people that talk about how they struggle singing in their chest voice, but have no problem singing in their head voice. I have the opposite problem. I'm very confused.
Same
Strange. For most people, the chest voice is mainly the more stronger voice which people talk in. THe head voice, at least for me, takes more practice. Maybe try listening to opera styled musicals, and observe how they sing.
Same
This is me as well.
I used to do chorus at school and my teacher had us do some of these excises but she never explained this to anyone, so thank you, life makes more sense.
BTW I love your channel
If you could do a video on vibrato, that would be great. I've bee n trying to het it but I've heard that its meant to be natural and don't know how I can develop it
Vibrato comes naturally if you're completely relaxed. Relax your jaw, try to relax your tongue (i know it's difficult, i struggle with it too) and make sure to work on your support! Without your support you end up singing from your throat and unnecessarily creating tension!
vibrato comes from your breathing. once i figured that out, i played around with my breathing, i developed a really nice vibrato. just keep practicing, i promise you’ll get it
I've tried to find and strengthen my mix for almost two years now and I'm starting to think it's just physiologically impossible for me. I can mix and go smoothly through my passaggio only when I sing very quietly and hold back the volume. If I try to use normal singing volume it either just goes extremely breathy or I just can't find it at all and my registers are completely separate. I hope it helps if I start doing this exercise
Try the “Hey!” Exercise. It helps strengthen the thinner cords we need through that area! Good luck! 🙏🏻
I am a party princess trainer and company owner and this video is absolutely golden! I am going to get all my trainees to watch this video 👑🎀
so for example, in world burn, is she mixing way up there or is she belting the whole time? and when do you know when to mix and when to belt? also, the songs cady sings in mean girls, is she mixing, belting, or head voicing? my biggest problem is not being able to tell how a song should be sung or where to place certain parts of the song
She’s mixing which is one (of the many) reasons why it’s so impressive. I highly recommended Hannah’s reaction video!
Erika henningsen (og cady) said that she mixes :>>
You have a beautiful voice! I'd love to see a video of you just singing and playing piano 😍😍
Wow, u are really good at teaching! I hope someday u do a video to male singers, how they can use mix voice or head voice, cause spaking of me, i've always had that question, how to really sing with mix or head voice as a male
Absolutely! That is coming!
Yes, my vocal coach encouraged I strengthen my chest voice to support my mixed voice and head voice. I’m a soprano as well.
What better way to learn how to sing like a Disney princess than from an actual Disney princess??
I would love to see you react to your subscribers singing. I think it would be so cool if we sent in videos of us singing and you can do a reacting series😘
I love that idea!
This is all I ever wanted
"Mom Mom Mom Mom Mom Mom Mom Mom"
"Mom Mom Mom Mom Mom Mom Mom Mom"
"Mom Mom Mom Mom Mom Mom Mom Mom"
When I try to get my mom's attention
😂
thats my brother lmao
This helped me so much!!! I just finished my 3rd year of music school at university and have finally begun focusing on my mix. My school only pays for 3 years of private lessons so I'm now on my own. I'm definitely going to start implementing that "boo"k exercise into my warm-ups!
My job (before the pandemic) was being Disney princesses! I play Anna, Rapunzel, Elsa mostly. I’m able to voice all these characters even when singing. It’s a dream job being able to do what I love and be idolized by little kids!
This is a godsend during quarantine. Thank you.
This is so very useful, thanks. I really enjoy how you demonstrate from chest voice, headvoice and mix voice.
I’m a soprano but I learned to sing as an alto. Now that I’m seeing this video, I’m really glad because that means I have the first step down already. Chest voice isn’t a problem!
Note: everything else is really hard for me haha thanks for this video. I will keep practicing
I've been to so many vocal teachers during the years. I wish all of them were as good and precise in their explanation as you!
I have literally learnt more from you than all the years of music at school! ^^ I knew literally nothing about chest voice or head voice or mixing, I hadn't even heard the terms before I started watching your videos! This is really helping me out! Thank you! ^^
Such a great video! I find teaching the concept of a mix to younger students can be super challenging, so this resource is awesome! I have one student in particular that is having a hard time finding and understanding her mix and will definitely be breaking down this video with her!
This was a fantastic tutorial. Thank you so much! I'm going to add these exercises to my daily vocal warm-ups!
That’s incredible!! Hope you’d do more lessons in the future 🥰
Hannah!!! Such accessible and helpful tips! You are so knowledgeable (and yet still so young), positive, and great at what you do. Thank you for this!
Another wonderful video!! I’ve learned a lot with these exercises. So glad I was able to bump into your channel! ❤️
I’ve been singing in choirs all my life and I’ve learned more from you in 10 minutes than I ever did from any of my teachers
I am waiting to attend a callback for disney cruises (everything is on hold) and binging your videos. Always make me smile and keep me inspired to practice!!!!!
I struggled to transition in “I see the light” and that’s the song you demonstrated with! I tried again after this lesson and it sounded significantly better!! You really are a Disney princess thank you!
i would love to see more of these videos, because i would love to improve my singing!
Love these exercises you walked us through! Can definitely feel the difference using your techniques. I would love to have a video of just you singing a full disney princess song on here or your Instagram page!!
I’VE BEEN TEYING TO FIND IT FOR THE LONGEST TIME ILY ILYYY
Thanks for this video! I was looking for warm-up exercises that would work for me for so long! This 'book'-thing really does the trick!!
Thank you for these videos! I have been singing for so long but never professionally trained so these videos are nice to have !!
Hannah your voice is truely AWSOME!
Thanks for the lesson!! I'm not a singer but I find this lesson informative and fun, and adds my knowledge.
Do you think you could do a video about building head voice
Yes!
Hannah is so amazing!! So entertaining and Every video teaches me something new, it has really improved my singing!
I'm auditioning for Belle in my school musical in 2 weeks and this really helped. Thank youuu :)
As a low alto this is very helpful.
I would love to see more videos like this!!
Thank you so much! This really helped me mix more reliably. Much love!
I take Fr singing lessons and all of this rings a bell. Tysm this is so helpful
This is just lovely. Thank you for making this video
I LOVE YOUR VIDS! My fav vocal teacher
This was actually really helpful not just for my singing but actually for my speaking voice? I've been complaining for a while that I sound like a child still, despite being an adult now. So I was doing your exercise of feeling for the vibration in my chest while talking normally and realised there was almost none??? I've been talking using mostly head voice! So I spent like half an hour just talking to myself trying to find that chest voice and, honestly, it sounds so much more me and so much less like a five year old girl lol! It's pretty unfamiliar and my chest muscles aren't at all used to be using my chest voice at all so I need to slowly work on establishing it. When I tried to sing with it once I found it (although it was definitely hard to balance in right after spending all my life singing almost exclusively with all the vibration in my head and throat (except for when forcing it really low)) my singing sounded so much better too, finally bringing in the complexity that I'd been frustrated that my singing voice lacked. I'm completely self-taught by feel and observation and comparing what I hear from my own voice to what I hear in the songs I like, and this is the first time I've even come to the internet about any of it, so I had no idea about any of this and it's just really helpful! Thank you so much!
real-life Giselle from Enchanted
Oh my!! I always have a hard time with my first passage.. my voice tends to flip and or crack haha.. great video! Will try this in my next warm up session.. 💜
Hey Hannah- do you have any tips for learning how to sing for someone who is hard of hearing? I also wanted to say that I love listening to you! You have such a clear voice and it’s so easy to lip read with you! Thank you so much for your videos, I really enjoy them. X
I can't help sharing this Hannah is my favorite.
This was so helpful 🥰
I’m so excited for the signing 101!
hi hannah! absolutely love this video, I have always been confused about the concept of your “mix” but you explained it so well! unrelated, but could you please do a video looking into phillipa soo’s singing (especially as eliza)? I love her voice and she’s so incredibly talented and I think I could really learn from her, it would be super super helpful! 💕
I already know how to do this. I just wanted to see how good of a job she would do at explaining it. I’m impressed.
OMG this helped me so so so much
Great video!! Hope i will be able to do this sometime soon
Recently found your channel and just love the content :)
Coming back here after yesterday's mixing webinar😍😍
I tried these exercises yesterday and today my mix went from 0 to a solid 7 and I'm so happy🥰
Aren’t you already a Disney Princess?
Where do you do vocal lessons?? I’ve been wanting to find someone and you’re so genuine and pleasant and I would looove to get coached by you
She has a website in the description
I think you ARE a Disney princess. You sound and look like it! I love your videos, I love singing and always want to improve, and you help lots.
you are fantastic! If I lived in your area I would so take lessons...I want to hear you sing more!
i hope you make more of these vids!!
Hannah! You should be a Disney princess 👑
oh my goodness u have got such a beautiful voice
I've decided that you're the person I want to teach me to sing ❤
this is so helpful right now that i'm on hiatus from my voice teacher until the fall!
Im stiLL confused between head and mixed voice or maybe I just cant do it at aLL 😂😅
They are very similar! Allow head voice to completely release, even if it is breathy or light so you can experience the sensations! Mix is just head voice with a bit more “oomph” ☺️
@@HannahBayles oh i see, thanks for that, now I feeL more enLightened. And BTW I subscribed to you coz you Look so kind and LoveLy and BeautifuL too! Love from The Philippines 🤗🥰
I LOVE YOUR CHANNEL SO MUCH
GREAT VIDEO! There aren't enough videos like this on the internet! You should make a video about how to sing while your voice hasn't developed yet
Thank you for the lesson. Do you have a tip for me how to avoid too much tension when singing high notes? I'm always nervous when it gets up.
I was literally just singing Disney Princess songs in the shower and I come out to find this in my recommend? The universe works in mysterious ways...
My heart says yes but my inability to sing and sound good says no
Please do more of these vocal techniques videos
I love your voice 🤩
OMG THANK U
Yes Hannah!!!!!! Thank you you dont know how much I needed this video.
Serially you’re awesome
God I can’t spell.
*seriously
thankyou teacher!
thanksssss make more videos about mixing!!!!!!
I found it so funny that this got recommended to me after watching a video learning registers and all about mixed voice because my Choir master keeps telling me that I sound like a disney princess XD ! I'm a soprano in a gospel choir and I do quite often use my head voice and I need some lower registrer practice !
