Holy shit this still sounds amazing after over 25 years. I bought this CD along with 'Earwig'in 95 and 96'and was doing kickflips and fucking popshuvits while my neighbors scratched their heads.
Posthardcore, hardcore, nahhh good Chicago style punk rock, Chicago had the best bands while the coast's had the noteriety, in the 80's it would be called the "ChicagoSound" .
I heard Strong Reaction in high school and blink wasn't even on the radio or heard of in 93' which is when i was last in high school. Is that right what he said about tgis song?
@eljipo No shiiiiit!?! I saw PEGBOY in 1990 here in Ann Arbor, MI. All the punks went crazy when they ended their set with "Rat Patrol" by NR. I have been going to shows since 1985 & I'm almost 41 yrs old. I know a hell of a lot more about hardcore than you do, I'm sure. Not being mean I'm just sayin'. Hardcore is my life. It has consistently been one of the most important things in my life for 25+ years. This may be some kind of 'post-HC' or it just may be hardcorepunk!

I had a Thrasher vhs that came with a subscription. It had Pegboy and 88 Fingers Louie songs in it. Still love both those bands.
It sounds fresh to this day!
The guitar sound, the vocals, the attitude... intact after decades!
Thank you!
The midwest...everywhere else is just a place to go on vacation.
I was there & it was EPIC! 🔥🤘🏽☠️
Saw these guys twice last weekend. Loved it
I love Chicago :-)
Dc shoes Ryan gallant part brought me here somehow over a decade. Side note, looks great live.
Thirty years later, I feel that same low energy on a high-energy song that used to be ... energizing.
Fucking amazing band one of my favorites of all time for sure!!!!!!
Saw them at UCSD live. Awesome.
I remember seeing these guys at the Metro in, the lead singer would do whole Tunes while body surfing😎
Thanks for posting
I saw these guys live at the metro I think back in the day...I just remember the singer actually did a song while body surfing through the crowd.

On the topic of inland scenes, let's not also forget about MPLS.
