I remember seeing this on the Headbanger's Ball. At first I thought "WTF is this?!" And then the next day I showed the videotape of it to my friend as a joke, but instead of finding it funny, I surprised myself (and my friend) by liking it.
Everything about this band was so fucking ace right here. DUSK is my favorite album and this clip shows why. It captures that era flawlessly. Every band member looks so dark, evil, and Romantic. The sound and rawness is pure and magical... THIS is the band I fell in love with! I still like the new albums, but they're on a whole different level. You cannot recapture the days of old.

@DivinityOfDoom Cradle has always expanded on what we perceive as Black Metal, They have always been different, with more Goth elements, at least in their good old days. Defining them in a certain genre is hard, which I think is the root of most of the hate for this band. As for the costume, again with the Gothic style, their look here is romantic and fits with the song in my opinion. Hell, I wear velvet shirts from time to time, Cradle is as much a part of my life as Mayhem, 1349 and Gorgoroth

I miss the old MTV. But anyways, I wish I was that microphone! Even though dani licking that microphone made me laugh to death and looks silly as hell, it still sexy. :D Great performance. I also love the lighting of the entire set.

@Adastra14 That was the intention ;-). I'm just surprised by their,eh,choice of wardrobe. Didn't know COF had that romantic gothic-like phase once. I'm used to the all-black leather look. Man, so much has changed in 15 years... It also helps that Slash played both Les pauls and Mockingbirds.
@DivinityOfDoom it's called cosplay. and it represents the era, although they still use cosplay in their concerts sometimes. it's not untrue, it's just atmospheric.
