- In this video, I'm sharing my story of how I became a professional boxer at the age of 34. I would never have thought it was possible, but following my passion and dream of being a fighter has led me to where I am today. Fighting on my own terms and creating content I love while teaching through boxing.
Thanks for watching! I hope my story inspires you to dream big and never think you are too old to pursue your passion. Dreams can come true if you're willing to work hard for them. So don't let anything hold you back - go out and follow your dreams! - Sport
I'm actually going on a amateur journey at 41. I've been training since I was a teen, and have had a bunch of white collar fights. I only plan on doing it for a year. Maybe get 10 fights and call it a day. Good work champ 💪
Great plan. I have a guy in my gym that is 65 years old and is still competing in the masters. He was my motivation to get back to it.
Ya both my motivation I’m back at 37
@@darksidecoops 👍👊
I’m on the same journey 🙏🏾.. 42 in October… check my page
I was told usa amatuer boxing allows u to be an amatuer until youre 40..... so how are you boxing as an amatuer right now?
Major Respect Bro I’m about to turn pro at 33 this gives me motivation!
That is great to hear for real! You have a date yet?
@@keysessoms Appreciate it bro! Fight date set in August! Dropping weight and getting back sharp!
How long was your amateur career if you don’t mind me asking
@@keysessomshow many amateur fight would you recommend having before turning pro.
@@t1mu823I’d say 20-25
Congratulations I’m about to make my debut pretty soon at 36 something I said to myself and I say all the time to others it doesn’t matter about age or experience it just matters how bad you really want it.
Well damn said! let me know how it goes.
How did it go?
Does it take around 10 years to become to world champion or,it could be possible in lesser time??
Please answer.
💯‼️‼️
Im 25 and guy at the gym said bro im 26 and ppl say you starting to late dont listen to those guys. I said faxx.
I come from a family of boxing and its in me
Facts it's never to late brother, follow your passion and become the best version of yourself possible, you look sharp 💯💪🏾🔥
Thank you! Most definitely will. I’m looking to see how far I can go but I am happy I got in there even once
thank you for inspiring me champ. I sincerely mean that. I am a very true and dedicated boxer. I trained on Christmas day, and I was soon to make a pro debut in Rosarito, Mexico. Unfortunately, the age limit is 35. I won my most recent boxing match there on August 27, 2022. I'm a Masters Amateur boxer that is 52 years young. If God opens the right doors, it will happen for a pro debut. My fellow boxers Dewey Bozella and Paul "Rude Dog" Iannuzzi did it at 52 and won. I will never give up, even if I'm a Masters Amateur Boxer for life. Thank you, and may my Mighty Lord Jesus Christ always bless you, my fellow boxer and champion.
🥊🥊🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏💖✝
Your an inspiration bro, I’m 27 and one month in of getting back into boxing. I started when I was in my teens but trained on and off due to not being able to find the right situation. I had one amateur fight at 22 that I lost. Sometimes I wonder if it too late but I try to motivate my mind and when I see guys like you I know I can still get out there and rumble
Its never to late depending on what you are trying to do in the sport, but if you can sells a good amount of tickets turning pro is not that difficult.
I'm in the same place man 27 and just getting back into mma I wrestled as a kid and highschool. did amature kick boxing at 18 and just stopped and havent done anything since. I've been feeling like its too late since I turned 25.
This was just what I needed, I started my boxing journey 7 months ago and I’m 24 years old. I was always worried if it was too late for me or if I would be too old to go pro.

This is so dope man congrats on the win 🏆 I had a amateur boxing career 1 win-2 losses in a 6 month span when I 20 years old now I’m 31 and feel like boxing again thanks for this video it was inspirational 💯
Give a try. Especially the amateurs. It could be fun.
How’s the training are you still at it ?
Lots of fighters hit their prime around this age nowadays, back in the 60’s and earlier men were worn out by the time they hit 32.
Definitely true
I love the mission I am age 31 and allot o people said I'm getting old and you just inspire me to get back brother thank so much
Thank you for inspired by this. Many people have told me the same thing but I did and proved them all wrong
@@keysessoms I am going to do the same I hope we can stay in touch
@@yahmanphelps-vz6yn where are you from and how is going boxing so far?
I just looked you up on the boxrec you are not a bad fighter.
Same here bro I just turned 31 but been training since I was 18. Seeing this is motivation fr
Im 27 I started boxing on & off when i was 15 & i have always loved this sport, my dream is to improve upon my skill set & eventually put my skills to the test in the ring, i know i can go places & even if i dont ill have a hell of a story to tell my kids.
We have a similar mindset when it comes to boxing. I have a good story to tell my kids and I want them to know that I did not just quit on what I love.
Amazing 💪

Thank you for real! I tried to stay calm and make sure I do what I learned over the years.
This is so dope man! I dont usually comment but this is super inspirational. Even I feel like I’m late starting boxing when I was 21 and just turned 22. Bout to start my amatuers in november and planning to go pro around 24-26. Great quality video with great motivation!
Thank you for the comment especially since you usually dont. Turning pro by 24-26 is not a bad time frame just try and get as many national tournaments in as you can.
good work man 🥊 smart, sharp, slick and quick! very motivational and your kids have a great role model to look up to 💯 34 years young looking better than 99% 20 year olds. Very impressive performance good job

Shades of Bud here with the head movement, inching in nicely bro. Beautiful work. Even at 27 I thought it was too late to do something FUN with boxing, let alone pro. Proud of you.
Thank you I appreciate that. Im looking it exactly how you saying. Something fun to do.
Thank you so much for posting this video I wanted to start fighting in my 20s but circumstances happened and here. I am now at 33 next month.

You got this! Just keeping pushing. I tell people if you are older and want to turn pro start getting your name out there because selling tickets is going to be key for you.

Man you got some amazing foot-work🔥
Thank you for real. I think my foot-work is my best skill. Came from dancing.
U looked comfortable in there my man. I needed some motivation too as im 32 and started pretty late. Keep going bro
Thank you! I felt really comfortable. I was getting really good sparring in the build up to help me.
Man that was awesome. 36 over got me contemplating getting my amateur license again man. You made me see we still have time on the clock to see what we are made of.
We definitely still have time especially for an amatuer fight.
This is definitely motivating it’s never to late don’t let life pass you by stop procrastinating
Something I'm still learning
A video showcasing your usual boxing training routine would be so sick I can't lie 💯 I've been obsessed just watching a clip of you shadow boxing cuz you move so smoothly fr, would be pretty cool to see how you usually move in a bigger format 🔥
Thank you for watching for real! I am working on a day in the life right now. I'm trying to figure out how to structure it. I'm thinking showing some footage of me as a boxing coach and some of me training.
Hey man, you're good! Salute from Brazil! Keep going!
Thank you for the shout out all the way from Brazil.
Awesome man! Keep it up! Respect from Serbia!

Hey man keep up the good work I’m watching tryna grow myself tryna become an armature atm keep it up I’m here for the journey with you
Appreciate it. If you ever need any advice or have any questions hit me on IG. Ill help where I can.
I needed to see this
Happy I could help.
I only just been getting interested in boxing, but I keep hearing all the greats were in their prime when they was 20-25, I’m 22 now and I was feeling like I’m late but you’re opening that shit up to my head.
I think all the gyms near me are for kids though, Id feel weird having a kid showing me up
Most fighters start to hit their stride around 24-28 and then enter their primes after that until their early 30's, but they are many exceptions to that.
Bro great video. Discovered your chaennel yesterday and keep up the work. I'm 24 going 25 and I'm going to do Both MMA and Boxing. I'm nervous and excited at the same time.
Being Nervous and Excited is good place to be
Very inspirational brother🖤💯
Thank you
Respect man🎉
Thank you
I love this.
Thank you.
Thanks for this champ on 31 years old u just motivated me to keep training toake it pro
No problem. Im happy I can help motivate you.
You're a total inspiration!
Thank you
I needed this I’m 26 & just stop smoking to turn my life around
I might as well go hit this gym with my bro & his trainer💯
Do it. It can be life changing.
Love this, I was just talking to my wife about getting back in the ring, I'm also 34 bout to turn 35 next month, this really encouraged me, thank you💯💪🏾
No problem. If it makes sense and you feel like you have to so that you do not live with the regret go ahead.
Damn that was a nice bola shot to sit him down. Im impressed with how slick you looked aswell! Good work champ 🏆
Thank you champ! I think I work on being slick more then a lot of things even though I shouldnt lol
🔥🔥 Keep God in it Bro 🥊
Most definitely will do!
Im not gonna this video was perfect with the editing camera quality i wish more people would recognize you because you put in da work and you can see the work you put in

Thank you so much. God bless you as well
Thank you for the motivation, I been training a year doing kickboxing and Im 26 years old, before with 16-18 years I did boxing, but never took really the chance and motivation. It's tough to stay consistent alongside work and study, but I will keep push forward. Thank you man really🙏
Combat sports are a great way to stay in shape whether you compete or not. No problem
Straight inspiration. Keep up the great work champ. You look sharp, , relaxed, focused and executed extremely well. You picked the punches correctly took control of the fight. Applied pressure and counted well. From one coach to another salute brother. Keep doing your thing you’re definitely gonna go a long way. Stay hungry stay blessed. Love, from New York.
Truly appreciate that. Thank you for real. Where are you a trainer at?

Ive been boxing since a kid off and on but barely getting back to it at 31 you giving me motivation to get back to fighting thank you for this i started feeling like i was to old even tho i still look 19 i still felt like time is passing by and i waited to long
It is definitely not to late to still give the sport a try and do it. I think for most people it all depends on what your goals are at the sport.
@keysessoms yeah your right ✅️ thanks I appreciated female fighter here 💪
You did your shit my boy 🔥
Thank you for real.
Respect my man
Thank you
Congrats bro! I’m 35 and still have dreams of boxing. Trained when I was about 18 and was getting ready for golden gloves. But I feel more energized, confident and. Mentally strong. I needed this
Get you a few amatuer fights in if you can then turn. Just make sure its the right situation
Just came across this video scrolling through CZcams. I’m 25 and had given up on my dream of fighting about 3 years ago. I saw the title and immediately subscribed. Thank you man!
25 is still young. Honestly depending on what you are trying to do with the sport and how long you've boxed previously, you can do alot in the sport.
Outstanding "....
Thank you.
salute king
Thanks.
Man that fight was entertaining! I've been thinking about joining a boxing gym for a while now to try it out but I've been pushing it aside due to me overthinking. Seeing this video has helped me make up my mind. I will join a local boxing gym in the following days!
Go for it!

No problem. Of course train like it is a championship fight, but have fun.
