Is The Mort Theory Satire?

  • Over the past 3 years I’ve uploaded a whopping 27 entries in my theory on Mort the Lemur from the Madagascar films, linking him to the entirety of Dreamworks and stringing together a timeline of the ages. It’s incredible, but confusing, so today, I finally answer: Is it all satire? I then manage to connect all of the chaos on an official timeline and reveal more truths of the greatest conspiracy the world has ever seen.
This is a very rational, direct, fast-paced video, but is well edited. It contains many recaps however, so below are chapters to skip around for returning viewers.

The reason we don't see that now, especially in the latter half of the Prequels, was because of the backlash. This could also explain why Count Dooku seemingly came out of nowhere - because his place was originally intended for [Twist Reveal] Sith Jar Jar. All of this was sort of pseudo confirmed by Jar Jar's voice actor, with the older/original script(s) sort of suggest/imply that Jar Jar had a more significant role.

How to Train Your Dragon info that you might find useful:
    1) In the first HTTYD movie, all of the dragons steal food to give to their "queen" which is a giant dragon called the Red Death that lives inside a volcano. It definitely has similar vibes to the volcano sacrifice scene from Madagascar 2. More specifically, in one scene you can see a dragon carrying Gloria the hippo as sacrificial food.
    2) All of the characters believe firmly in the Norse pantheon. In one episode of the spin off series Riders of Berk, Thor "gets angry" at Berk for housing the dragons, which is evidenced by lightning striking metallic objects.
    3) In the spin off series Race to the Edge (which takes place after Riders of Berk between the first and second films), the characters are served hyena gizzards at a feast and they are considered a "delicacy." This piece of evidence is made more important by the fact that the cookbook you mentioned that was found on the Madagascar plane has its title, "To Serve Lemur," written in a rune-like font.
    4) The twins, Ruffnut and Tuffnut, are suspicious. They're comedically dumb in the first movie and throughout most of the series, but in RoB they contract the disease eel pox which makes them conduct scientific experiments. In RttE, after dedicating their lives to the trickster god Loki, they have several "smart" moments where they speak random words or phrases in languages including French, German, and Italian. Tuffnut is has more of these moments than Ruffnut. Tuffnut also has a pet chicken and at one point he believes he is turning into a dragon werewolf type thing and the chicken SPEAKS TO HIM during his insanity

I know it's low priority because it's a 2D animated Dreamworks show but I feel Kipo and The Age of Wonderbeasts fits into this theory really well, I believe it takes place after the animal rights movies but before Shrek, just after the initial fall of modern humanity, in the show animals have mutated to become anthropomorphic and intelligent, humans are living in underground bunkers called burrows, and in the third season the villains are a group of humans working to revert animals back to their pre-mutation unintelligent state. Also, the villain of the first two seasons, Scarlemagne, is a mandrill mutant that was created when they were trying to figure out what substance caused the mutation in the first place and then engineer a formula to reverse it, but he escaped because two of the scientists, the main character Kipo's parents became attached to him and didn't want to turn him back into a normal mandrill. And you know what's the kicker? They tought him FRENCH HISTORY which is how he chose the name Scarlemagne, he combined the word scar because of the scars on his face with CHARLEMAGNE, a ruler of medieval FRANCE! The FEET connections are right there! Also, each group of mutant animals in the show have their own genre of music. Anyway, by the end of the show humans are back to living on the surface with the mutant animals and I believe somepoint after this is how we get to the Shrek era.

So basically, HTTYD is likely to have led to more animal rising stuff which we don’t see which means the original movies are early in the timeline
That’s my personal theory though and I admittedly haven’t seen the TV shows (although the movies are obviously of a higher priority)

I've been htinking that Mort is an Azathoth-like figure for a while, I'm glad you agree.
Also, there's the Croods TV Show, which includes a lot of humans evolving and trying their best to supress the animals in it, which could take place after the bombs drop, as they reference things like television, movies, and a guy even says "yolo" at one point during the TV show. There's also the rather idea that the Burgen from Trolls are a degenerate form of humans, and have their lost their ability to feel emotions other than despair (this could possibly be because of Mort, as he has regularly said that he's dead inside and may possess the power to endow this in other creatures).
But yeah, love your videos, keep up the good work.

I would posit that actually the trolls are shards of the sky, gods or a crypted Mort whose goals to spread music to fight back against the whole mort

Considering the parallels from Mort and Kronos I realized the Sky Gods mentioned and shown in AHKJ ARE THE OLYMPIANS. The Pineapple leader is clearly Zeus and this is from the Madagascar wiki: also with my notes. The various gods are mentioned (firstly) in the following episodes:
Frank I think that's the pineapples/Zeuses name.- Enter the Fanaloka
Kevin God of precipitation and rain maybe Hera? the wife of Zeus - He Blinded Me With Science
Larry the lava God is Hephaestus - Are you there, Frank? It’s me, King Julien
Judy Goddess of the sea, clearly Poseidon- That Sinking Feeling
Gladys Goddess of fruits and grains is Demeter - Oh Captain My Captain
Another God is pictured in a book in Are You There, Frank? It's Me, King Julien, and this is a god shaped like a bull, Neither his name nor area of specialty are known ,maybe Hades? one last thing. you know the inbreeding jokes in AHKJ? well a LOT of family's in Greek mythology's COMES FROM INBREEDING

The new Orion and the Dark movie depicts FEET mythology among its lower members and gives us a timeframe for exactly when the nuclear explosion goes off.
The movie describes a boy’s adventure with the personification of darkness who brings night to the world, while Light brings day to the world (Sky God symbology). There are also other night entities, Unexplained Noises, Insomnia, Sleep, Quiet, and *Sweet Dreams* (Just Like the Sandman from Rise of the Guardians). In the movie, all of Dark’s friends leave him, so he decides to wait for Light to kill him by being *consumed* by lightness. However, Dark is later brought back by being brought out of Orion’s dream.
The main issue with this movie is that it’s openly shown to just be a story that older Orion is telling to his daughter. However, Orion is shown to be working at a planetarium, and it would make sense that an organization such as FEET would want to study the stars where their gods live. I believe that the story of Orion and the Dark is some form of FEET mythology being warped into a bedtime story, with the night entities being the Sky Gods and Light being Mort.
In addition to more FEET lore, this movie also gives us a timeframe for the Nuclear fallout’s timeline placement. At the very end, we see a much older Orion and his grandson. If I recall correctly, the child Orion events take place in modern day, which would place the future events around 50-60 years after modern day, landing nuclear fallout, at the earliest, 2050 or so. If I missed anything from this movie, remind me in the replies.

    Quote from Penguins TV Series
Private - "Neighbors don't eat neighbors"
Mort - "I do... if my neighbor is a mango" (aka his supposed true form)
Animals Who Want to Rise Against Humans:
    Dr. Blowhole
    The Blue Hen (Penguins villlain)
    The Red Squirrel
General Mandible from Antz (haven't seen it, but read he wanted the ants to become stronger)
    Professor Marmalade
Barry B. Benson (He sues the Human Race and helps others rise like the cow at the end)
RJ and the Over the Hedge crew (including Vincent)
    Agents for the Anti-Animal Organization:
Chantel Dubois (assigned to Alex the Lion, the peace maker between humans & animals)
Nana (Russian devision, inspires humans to stand their ground, has eaten lion)
Officer X (trained since birth, enemy of the penguins)
Zookeeper Frances (Mission: replace all zoo animals with androids
    - 1st Target: Hoboken (test area, manipulates the public)
    - 2nd Target: Central Park Zoo (known inhabitants: Penguins, Alex the Lion, and Mort)
    - Both Frances and her androids sing when meeting the penguins
Ms. Grunion from Mr. Peabody (Mission: stop Mr. Peabody's rise in power)
Mr. Montgomery (Mission: end Barry's lawsuit and bring prejudice against bees)
Dwayne from Over the Hedge (skilled exterminator) (in the video game adaption, he uses mind control on the animals, including Vincent)
Grocery Store worker from Bee Movie (wasn't surprised that Barry could talk)
Honeyfarms (plainly evil and knows of the bees intelligence)
Non-agent humans that are influenced by the organization or just hate animals:
Zookeeper Alice (suspicious of the penguins, but doesn't have the exterminator training)
Ken from Bee Movie (hates Barry for stealing his girlfriend)
Guy Ganye (possible retire agent, against Turbo for being a snail)
Police Chief Misty Luggins from Bad Guys (dedicated to capturing the Bad Guys, but dosen't show prejudice against Diane or Marmalade)
    Animals who have peacefully risen:
Mr. Peabody (use intelligence to help humany)
Diane Foxington (reformed thief turned honorable governor)
Bug Societies (Antz and Bee Movie show them highly evolved and hidden from Humanity)
BOB from Monsters vs. Aliens could be a cursed Fruit God
    - He was a tomato mutated by humans
    - Is a mindless indestructible blob
    - In the Halloween short, he mentions to have a mother to was killed in a salad bar
    - Claims to speak produce in same short, comunicating with the mutated pumpkins
The Guardians are not on the human or animal side, they just keep order in the youth:
    - Two humans, a fairy and a bunny are members
    - The Man in the Moon desires to protect Dreams, Fun, Wonder, Hope and Memories in the youth of Earth
Gallaxhar is from a divergent evolution of Megamind's species
Precious against the animal side is rampent (Monsters and Fairy Tale creatures are also decrimigated as monsters)
Have you ever notice only magical animals in Shrek can talk. I heard their was a deleted seen where Jack Horner's wish to steal magic reverts Puss and Kitty into non-intelligent animals, implying the source is magic.
Alex, Skipper and Barry B. Benson bring major change to the Natural Order.
    - Alex the Dancing Lion brings peace through mesmerizing humans with his moves (even Nana isn't immune)
    - Skipper, as a child, rejected Nature to save an egg containing the cutiest penguin ever, eventually forming a group protecting both animals and humans. (Note that the entire Madagascar trilogy is CAUSED by the penguins. Marty decision, the Boat, The Plane, The Water Hole drying up, the rescue missions)
    - Barry B. Benson is the most despicable of them. Unpleaced in the Bee's utopian society, he sues the human race, discredits human celebrities, destroys order and wipe outs nature, and continues to lead uprsisings with other bugs and exploited animals like cows. Barry is a threat.
Hope this info could assist in your theory and sort things out.

In the science fiction empire-building strategy video game Stellaris, there is a being known as the Worm-In-Waiting. It is a dimensional horror that lives at the center of a black hole, perhaps _all_ black holes, where space ceases to exist and time is compressed into a knot. The Worm, also known as the Loop, has a psychic symbiotic or perhaps parasitic relationship with a chosen empire. This civilization discovers a signal from the Worm, which then begins to _...change..._ the civilization itself. The key mantra of this signal is WHAT WAS WILL BE, and foretells that the civilization will regress and devolve into a different form, an ancestor species that will survive some sort of apocalypse before heading into space, rediscovering the Worm and its signal, and begin the cycle anew.
What Was Will Be. The timeline that works both ways, one species overtaking the other and rebuilding after an apocalypse. A ravenous, bottomless being at the center of it all, the embodiment of time and destruction.
Idk. The Worm-In-Waiting sounds a little bit like Mort, doesn't it?

Something I've been thinking about (with much more dedication than any person should) is how the Sky Gods feel about animals eating fruit. We've seen that they take the form of various fruits, so how would they react to the consumption of their non-sapient doppelgangers? Would they see it as blasphemous, and a sign that they're firmly on Mort's side of this grand battle? Are the fruit on Earth actually a sort of tribute from the Sky Gods, and a gift to those who worship them? I don't think there's any evidence showing that the Sky Gods care either way, but I do find it interesting that on the island of Madagascar (where the Sky Gods seem to be the most active) the herbivorous lemurs are sapient while the carnivorous foosa act more like actual animals. Maybe all fruits are a sort of forbidden fruit in the Dreamworks universe, and are imbued with some trace amounts of godly wisdom.

I have another piece of potential evidence: Throughout the 2010's, there was a game called Jumpstart, and for about half of its life, it acquired a few DreamWorks properties, namely How To Train Your Dragon, and Madagascar. Madagascar gave the main game it's only true overarching "plot", the plot being that animals are disappearing from the New York zoo, and the Penguins recruit the players ("Jumpees", as they were known), to help save them, find the culprit(s), and bing them to justice, whereas HTTYD, while in the game for a short time, had a spinoff called "School of Dragons", and Madagascar did too, with the title being "World of Madagascar". I like to think that the Jumpstart universe (I say universe because there's another game called Math Blaster that was made by the same developers but was set in space, though Max, one of the main characters, did cross into one of the later Jumpstart games, as well as a game called "Magic & Mythies", which took place in a Fantasy world completely separate from the main Jumpstart world is another universe in Mort's mind. A side project, if you will.
What does this mean for the theory, you ask? Well, I think that the world of Jumpstart was quite literally Mort's own matrix. Or, at least, one that one of his alternate, more innocent personas conjured up. Why? Well, not only is there ANOTHER version of the Zoosters and Penguins, but there was a mini game that had the Zoosters as babies, as seen at the time in Madagascar 2, with the game being a slide game, which had Mort in it. Time dilation, your honor. Now, JumpStart and all of its related games shut down sometime in 2023, with World of Madagascar & Magic & Mythies shutting down a few years earlier. I suspect that it was because one of the personalities couldn't find a way to keep it sustainably continuing, with new and inspired, but still fitting, ideas. One of the characters, a fairy named Ivy, even lost a real voice provided by a human, and was replaced by I think an AI. Also, in both the main Jumpstart game and World of Madagascar, there were mini games where you could brew concoctions to turn other players into animals, just like Mort wants.
I REALLY hope you discover this comment

In the monsters vs aliens Halloween special, there is these pumpkins mutated by aliens and begin consuming candy to become bigger and bigger until “the whole world becomes their pumpkin patch”. Perhaps that could tie in to the sky gods in some way

Re-posting this again for visibility. Theorizer, I may have figured out a key part of the timeline. The very tipping point between the skygods and Mort. Dreamworks have made several Jurassic Park video games for the 1997 sequel, The Lost World: Jurassic Park. One of which for the PSX/Sega Saturn has the dreamworks logo in it. However it's a VERY unique version. Just see for yourself...
    czcams.com/video/jyl77NjhqiM/video.html
The sound when he's pulled down is from a Velociraptor. a highly intelligent animal brought back from the dead by humans. In Jurassic Park 3 they're said to be more intelligent than dolphins or whales, or even primates. In the original film, the game warden says they show signs of "Extreme intelligence, even problem solving intelligence." and "When she looks at you, you can see she's working things out." as well as that the lead raptor had her subordinates attack the fences to test them for weaknesses. "They remember...". In Jurassic World Velociraptor is the subject of a years long study on their intelligence called "Project I.B.R.I.S." or "Integrated Behavioral Raptor Intelligence Study" which was an attempt to train them to be used as weapons. This project resulted in both the raptors seen in Jurassic World, as well as the Indominus Rex and Indoraptor hybrids. Both of which were extremely intelligent. The Indoraptor even showing traits of a being a sadist. I.B.R.I.S. also resulted in the Velociraptor Blue, who repeatedly showed a near human level of empathy and intelligence. Even sharing a bond with her handler, Owen Grady. Another of the raptors, Delta, shows a bond with another raptor trainer ( who is french ) named Barry Sembène. Both of these men have a deep understanding and respect for the raptors under their care.
If the timeline of dreamworks films is reversed with humans devolving and The Croods taking place in the future, where do the dinosaurs come from? this answers that. It's the catalyst for the fall of humanity. The sky gods and death have been at war for millions of years, neither the intelligent animals nor humans/skygods could win. However humans cloned dead intelligent animals unknowingly, they somehow killed the skygods and thus the war ends. Humans rapidly devolve and the intelligent animals win, leading us into the Croods and Kung Fu Panda.
This game is from 1997, predating the first dreamworks animated film, ANTZ, by a year. meaning this moment has been there all along as every film and show were made. there's also a version of the intro without him on the moon, possibly showing events after this?
Dreamworks have also made two Jurassic World cartoons, Camp Cretaceous and it's sequel, Chaos Theory. I don't know if there would be much info in the shows themselves, but it's still made by dreamworks and means Jurassic World and the events after it depicting dinosaurs escaping into the world happened. While the films themselves are not dreamworks and therefore may happen differently if any contradictions with the shows/games happen, The ending of the latest film: Jurassic World Dominion ends with the moral message of the world needing to come to terms with the dinosaurs existing as a part of nature again.
Also some time between the events of Jurassic World and Dominion, Barry Sembène ( mentioned earlier, and french ) joins the C.I.A. as an undercover agent trying to stop the illegal trafficking and sale of dinosaurs by criminal organizations.
Both in Dominion and Chaos Theory there is another raptor pack, this time a species called Atrociraptor. They act like trained attack dogs, the way the I.B.R.I.S. raptors were intended to be and are used by criminals.
Another Dreamworks game released in 1998 is The Lost World: Jurassic Park: Trespasser. in it a list of the names of a few of the hunters from the 1997 incident are listed off. One of them is jurassicpark.fandom.com/wiki/Lasalle
who has a french name and is described as "Lasalle was a disciple of Roland's, sometime poacher, fancied himself a master hunter. An ex-policeman from South-Africa, sort of a soldier or fortuna character. Known as "The Maharaja" to his fellows, highly skilled but only works alone. He was meant to radio for picking up from the communication station" Rolland Tembo is a world famous big game hunter in the film.
Trespasser also changes several dates to match the original novel, not the film. However the island shown is from neither.
Dreamworks also made a RTS game for The Lost World called Chaos Island. It vaguely depicts the events of the film. As well as a fighting game for the PSX called Jurassic Park: Warpath.
This one is a stretch, however the creature that destroyed Jurassic World and set off the events that caused the dinosaurs to escape is a sentient, sapient, intelligent hybrid called the Indominus Rex. Which in-universe is created by the scientist Dr. Wu. However.... in real life, the creature was created by the paleontologist hired to work on the films. Who just so happens to be named Jack Horner. It is theorized the Indominus has human DNA in it, but it isn't confirmed. I think the main source of this was a graph showing what it's made of with "???" for it's brain.
The timeline would have the events of dreamworks properties outrank the films. So instead of 1993, the first film events would take place in 1989. The Second film would take place in 1997, and would instead be Chaos Island and the PSX/saturn game. Trespasser would then take place in 1998. Jurassic Park 3 would still be in 2001 and most likely remain the same. The Jurassic World trilogy would still take place in 2014, 2018 and 2022. Jurassic World does not take place when the film came out, due to the film coming out in June, but the film featuring snow and Christmas music on the mainland. Implying it's December of 2014. An interesting meta note though. The park Jurassic World opens in 2005.... The same year as Madagascar. The same year Mort was introduced to Dreamworks films.
For more info on the timeline, Trespasser features a memoir by John Parker Hammond, who is the character that created Jurassic Park. It was narrated by the actor who played him in the films, the late Lord Richard Attenborough.
    czcams.com/video/NQWjrFih120/video.html
In the game Chaos Island there is a DNA serum that allows direct control over the dinosaurs minds, making them into "radio controlled cars with teeth". They are used by both factions in the game in a pseudo war for survival on the island.
In Camp Cretaceous there is a company named Mantah Corp who use a brain implant in the dinosaurs with the exact same result of direct control of these intelligent animals.
One other thing of note,, Chaos Island features a cheat code that spawns a grey alien on your team, and Trespasser features a monolith like in 2001 A Space Odyssey.

Trollhunters: has aliens, time travel, Mythical Creatures, and Magic, it is a dreamworks show that could fit into the theory,
The trolls fit into the roll of fantasy Creatures rising up,
The aliens fight the government who is trying to capture them, also the aliens (who came from the sky) have fascination with music

How To Train Your Dragon is about a world (set in the viking age around the year 1000 (THIS IS KNOWN*)) where dragons and humans are at war with each other. Hiccup tames a dragon and learns that they don't have to kill the dragons and that they can co-exist. Over the 3 movies what they find out is that it's too dangerous for dragons to be at the mercy of humans as humans will always try to hurt and exploit them. For that reason they hide away in the Hidden World (movie 3).
Now there is a canon spinoff called Dragons; The Nine Realms. Which takes place 1300 years after the movies, in the 2000s. I haven't really watched this one but from what I know the dragons stayed in this Hidden World for all those years and humans don't know that the dragons exist there.
Looking at how the dragons were able to evolve in this time, without the presence of humans interfering could be interesting to dive into.

Yeah, I’ve got a question about the theory that Trolls takes place in far future America while Kung Fu Panda takes place in far future China.
Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight is on the bottom of the hierarchy of content to use as evidence, but It thoroughly shows other parts of the KFP world inhabited by animals, such as India, South America, England, Polynesia, and more. This show also apparently includes characters and lore that long precedes Oogway and Kai’s adventures in the timeline.
Of course, Dreamworks themselves doesn’t consider this, or any of the TV shows at all, to be canon. But, I thought it was fun to bring up. Good luck with your next parts!
