    Thanks for this style kind of vid. Although I knew this already, it's nice to see it confirmed on your Dyno. Now if power increased 5-10 horses, or torque increased, I probably would buy it... Lol

    Idk bout you but my chip tune made a difference for my Lancer. Mine needed to be in Accessory mode for 5 mins and then drive the car 240km to fully sync in. I tested my
    0-100km
    BASE = 8.96
    CHIP = 7.88 + throttle improvement along with an extra 40-100km in fuel range

    Something Eclass tuning would sell you and tell you it’ll make 50+whp 🤣🤣

    Tried one on my s212 diesel org(170hp), tested and was working the one i had, with the obd i had 225-230 hp and 600 torque. Problem was, after a while a perfectly fine turbo started greasing and going to hell, cause apparently the damn thing had it loaded all the time. I'm no expert, but also the automatic gearbox started glitching in first 2 gears sometimes, and the "gadget" was going on and off sometimes. Fun to try, bad for the vehicle in the long run.

    I really think kids who want more power buy these not knowing any better. I'm guilty myself, my first car was a '98 chevy malibu and i got a jet module for it. It basically messes with MAP settings to increase torque wherever you are in the rev range (if i remember right) but realistically, it probably just messed with the ecu and didn't do anything beyond blinky lights. So listen to your teach, mr knights lol

      Yes, when you're just starting, and dont have much money, you just tend to go to the cheapest things and easiest to install.

    Thanks, most comparison vids are a person's opinion and maybe a stopwatch 0-60. Clearly it doesn't do anything.

    Do the pedal commander next. Or is that only for acceleration?

    • @dynojunior8215
      @dynojunior8215 Před 2 lety +1

      Pedal Commander works. Maybe no power gains but far more responsive acceleration. Infiniti Q70L.

      I heard it works too. No added power, but throttle is more responsive from what I hear and seen. But it won't add any power or torque to your car.

      I used a pedal commander and it turned my engine light on I disconnected and my engine light turned off

      that's only for your throttle curve.

    You have to drive it for 150 miles so it can see your driving style . Also the pins have leads under the mat material, I build electronics lol

      explain why they use hot glue to put the wires on to the circuit board if you open them up 😂 open one 😂

    my car is faster with the leds shining on the floorboard .. scares 'em .. they know whats up .. yeah i got burned stage4 baby, tell ya, a new air cleaner will add more .. and the reason they tell you it takes 150 miles to work is they know your attention span will likely forget about it by next paycheck and your less likely to demand your money back

    Don’t you have To drive it 150 miles first before it starts working

    • @saulnismoknights
      @saulnismoknights  Před rokem +6

      Nope, it's explained in my video. The only things that are making contact in the circuit board are the pins that power up the light and the reset button to trick you. The other pins aren't even connected to anything on the board.

      I have figured out that is to let the refund time run out. I had a question about the OBD2 port, so I watched some videos about the chip tuner I bought and rapidly inquired how to get a refund.
