How to motivate a horse to keep trotting when lunging

Everything you want to advance in the saddle, can be prepared on the ground. Like keeping the trot and going forward. If a young horse doesn’t respond well on the ground when sent forward and doesn’t think “trot”, chances are high it won’t go forward when riding either. The better we prepare on the ground, the easier the rides will be!
