I’ve just discovered y’all! I’m a Texan whose Mother was Scottish and Irish. I’ve always had such a yearning to be in Scotland. I made it to England years ago but never north. I’m 70 now so my chances are lessening! Seeing you two at home with a warm fire on rainy days and crafting your beautiful jewelry, glass beads and bottles gives me such a longing. The views out your windows are stunning and the country you drive through is so beautiful. My late husband and I loved “junking” through second hand shops. It was our west Texas form of “mudlarking”. You two are so lucky and so talented. Thank you for feeding this old potters soul!!!!

I really like how Gail melted the little random pieces of silver to form a coral like crown for the seaglass, it looks super cool! I really appreciate those slow mo shots and the underwater clips too, they make me happy... Such a nice day, I want to be there too.

Oh this video is special to me in a way you’d never expect, my daughters beautiful 15 year old border collie, Chloe, passed today…she was the best nanny dog to four kids. About halfway thru the video a random dog looking much like Chloe passed by and looked back momentarily and ran on. I felt like I got a goodbye. The mind works in funny ways…

There’s a stone in Michigan called a pudding stone, It reminds me of the concrete thing with sea glass stuck inside. Great trip to the beach and great finds! Take care be well.

I’m a agate hunter so I really appreciate Gail’s pink one and Alex’s agate. Those wouldn’t be easy to spot with all those colored pebbles. Nice job ladies, you have really been upping your game in 2022.

I hope I have the right words this time. Gail, I've never seen you use that technique on jewelry before...it is amazing!!! Alex, you took your videography up several notches with the beautiful underwater scene of reaching for a gem...and the ripple in the water caught perfectly, then the waves...WOW Ladies, truly WOW! Thank you for taking us on this adventure, I am sorry you didn't feel you could keep all the treasures you found though. That's the luck of the beachcomber, mudlarker, tiplarker, medal detectorist...sometimes we find it all, and sometimes not. Folks should understand that. The tides may not always be in our favor. @Julianne It's not that they felt they couldn't keep all the treasures they found, but that they were only wanting certain things this time. People do understand that it is the luck of the draw when mudlarking or beachcombing what they will find.
All the British ones I follow will look up when low tides are expected and plan their trip accordingly.

Mom was a big rock hunter. But, usually it was a picnic out on country roads, atop hills and streams under a bridge. She was always searching for rocks. She also had the prettiest flower garden. There are a couple of spots in the Phoenix Mtn. Preserve where the old shallow mines were infilled with dirt mixed with broken bits of pottery, tile and glass. I've found tiny pieces of Havilland porcelain on the trails near the North Mountain Visitors Center and Dreamy Draw area.
Theres always some treasure to be found! No doubt there are some great gems to be found in Arizona 🥰

I am so enchanted with the mermaids amulet. My daughter-in-law Jen is so into the sea and mermaids and octopuses and stuff and teal is her favorite color. So you captured the essence of the sea. and Alex that seen where you put the camera underwater and we watched you go down to the water with your hand, without standing I so enjoyed it.
