My LC has 276K miles with the original radiator. I watched your video then went into the garage and watched the coolant slowly leak from the bottom of my beloved LC's radiator and decided it was time to get my hands dirty! Thanks for posting that video.
I'm glad my video was helpful! I see a lot of Land Cruiser's owners tend to replace OEM parts right at or over 200 miles on them. Which is awesome to know Toyota parts last that long!
Thank you for the vids, man!
Thank you for watching and supporting! :)
Denso is a good manufacturer just look at mount rubbers to see if they are coming apart or not if they are then you will want to replace them after you get done replacing it Memo take it in for a power flush to get all the build up out of the engine heater core so it will cool allot better and it helps the antifreeze absorb the heat.you can get house window foam at the hardware store that has a glue strip attached to it and just run new foam around the radiator to seal it up again.
pat finstad thanks for all the good info brother! I will do more details as we go along. I needed to install it quick before a trip.
@@MisterMemo any time memo always helpful when someone has done it before and knows where to get that dang foam.
@@red_dragonracingsilvereclipes lol Facts!
BTW, Denso is an OEM supplier. My new 2019 Landcruiser has Denso parts all on it.
While true, not all Denso rads are created equal.
I sincerely appreciate you sharing this how to video.
Any chance you can share some closeups (again) but a little more light and slower of where it gets fastened and where the lines/ hoses attach?
I took my 2000 LC in for service and the shop (supposedly a reputable LC shop) fastened some of these parts with zip lines rather than the fasteners it needs!!!!
I’m not taking it back, I don’t trust them, but I’d like to see what parts I’m missing (ie clips) and how they go together.
I understand if you can’t.
I can share my email if you prefer to send photos that way (if you are able to help with this).
Regardless, I sincerely appreciate the video!
Thanks for watching and commenting. At the time of filming I wasn’t thinking lighting and quality of the video. Lol tough filming and doing the work. Send me a message on Instagram @Mr.NINE8LC
@@MisterMemo will do! I sincerely appreciate your help!
The land cruiser is ready for our next trip!
You know it! #FalkenTires AT3W’s for the win

Ciaran I will once I have an update on it. Here in the next week or two.
Great video brother. I’m happy to see you’re channel expanding to include over landing also. I’ve been doing the same. Still have 1 DSM in the garage along with my 06 EVO MR, Along with my overland camper.
We just have to enjoy life and have fun with all types of toys! Thanks for the support bro!
I would recommend to wear eyes protection always .
Your right! :(
💪🏻😎I may need to get a new radiator. I’ll pick your brain when I get there good video
For sure let me know once your ready to replace your radiator! Thanks for watching bro!
Question: Those two lines you plugged using the spark plugs. Are those coolant lines or some oil? I want to know if I need to top up some other fluid while I am doing this job. Thanks
Can you please reply on the two lines you plugged using the spark plugs?
thanks, i just bought a land cruiser 100 and it was leaking from the top! i will replace tomorrow
Congrats on getting a 100 series!! I love mine and thanks for watching! keep me posted on your install!
How many containers or gallons you used to fill up after draining it all out?
I believe I used 2 of the 1 gallons and kept a third one just to have around.
only question, why did you not do the fan clutch?
I should have, I was in a hurry to just replace the radiator for a trip.
Hey memo i loved you video what is the reference of the antifreeze you got , i dont have tha brand in my country thanks
Thanks for watching Julian. Just use OEM (Factory Toyota) would work!
Amazing , hoy compre la Mia, 1998 Lexus
A huevo! Felicidades!
Gracias, más videos porfavor de la Toyota. Saludes desde Texas-Colombia
@@Donquijote007 Subscribe! I have a bunch of video of the LC!
@@MisterMemo , disculpa la que compre es una LC 1998 igual a la que tienes, hoy salió mal el bank 1 knock sensor , y se lo quiero cambiar , tienes información sobre eso que me pudieras ayudar ? Gracias
Nice Install! Denso is partly owned by Toyota anyways. Factory Radiator is probably made by Denso too.
Thanks for watching! That's what I've herd about Denso.
How’s the radiator holding up after 2 years
Holding up strong! Have 25K miles on it now and no issues.
@@MisterMemo that’s good to know, thanks for the info 👍 I’m buying one tomorrow
@@dieselwrench3621 No problem! Thanks for watching!
