Editing is so fun! Ive heard some assholes say "only bad photographers edit" and thats so dumb. Like, its about getting a final image you like, right? And editing is an art form in and of itself imo. I think we aren't "photographers", that term isnt really important (other than when talking to non-photographers), we are image creators/artists, right? The actual photography is just the first step in a longer process.
Sorry for the rant, I just love editing. =P
If you shoot raw, you should edit, simple as that. Raw files come out looking flat on purpose to give you more options in post. If someone wants to shoot jpg and let the camera do the processing, that's fine, but you probably need to accept a subpar result.
I feel editing is what really brings out a persons style. You could have a group of people shoot the exact same subject from the same perspective but in the end what’s going to set them apart? Editing!

Still Nikon has some of the best cameras on the market now with Z8, Z9, ZF..not sure from where the roasting is coming. If a photographer nowadays with all the tech in cameras is not able to do good photos, you should not blame the brand, but your skills :D

I found when using generative fill to remove people to just type “remove” much better, as adding “person” it thinks to replace what you’ve selected with a person.

For generative fill, you're supposed to describe what is going into the area that's being filled in, not what you want the program to do. Instead of saying, "remove the person", you should have said "snowy backdrop".

For photoshop ai generative fill, when you type "remove person" sometimes it takes the word person and tries to make a person, I think that's what happened there. next time just leave it blank and click generate, and most of the time it'll remove everything and just blend the background :) have a shit one

Why use the HSL to subtract yellow? Just balance the picture with the White Balance. Keep your colors and remove yellows, simple as that
