Ultimately I'm trying to make people stop for a moment and think - and to reconnect with the compassion for animals that already lies inside most of us.
If we take the time to inform people properly, together, one step at a time, one change at a time, - when it all adds up, it will be one enormous result for the animals.
Ethical veganism means making everyday choices driven by the desire to avoid causing cruelty and suffering to animals at all practical costs. It is a way of life that reaches far beyond a plant based diet.
Put simply - We oppose the exploitation and use of other animals.
There is no doubt that breeding, caging and use of animals for food, clothing, experimentation and entertainment causes an immense amount of suffering... all of it completely unnecessary.
Following a vegan lifestyle is easy and on this channel I will be navigating many of the challenges and socially ingrained ideas that animals are here for us to use.
I also hope to talk about 'activism'... and helping other vegans to communicate effectively and share the message of living without causing unnecessary harm to other beings.
I want to make change happen... for our health, for the planet and most importantly, for the animals.

The meat and dairy industry have worked their agenda HARD over the years. People genuinely believe you cannot live without consuming meat.
Exactly. Now add the supplement industry (mostly owned by big drug companies) to animal agriculture, and the disinformation propaganda is complete. They work together - veganism is their enemy.

It's important that he knows that these are artificially bred animals that are not suitable for the wild. They only exist because humans breed them and they live lives of great pain and suffering as a result. Wild boars, chickens, cows, etc. exist and continue to exist but are vastly different biologically. In fact, they would probably thrive more if a lot of land for them was re-wilded that is currently used to raise artificially high numbers of these artificially created animals and also if some of the land to grow the crops to feed these animals was also re-wilded.

Everyone brings up suplements when i say I'm vegan... never needed one. And even IF i did. So? At least I'm not harming a being that can feel pain, joy, sadness, ecstasy, etc.
Me neither, never needed or wanted any, been plant-based many years. All this "gotta take supplements/B12 etc" disinformation is just recent fearmongering from drug companies who make them and animal agriculture propaganda.

He's not a psychopath as he started off with all the right attitudes to needless animal exploitation and abuse.

This guy obviously knows absolutely nothing about health and dietary needs or where you can get all the nutritional requires of the body. I have a genetic health condition that makes gaining weight and absorbing nutrients from foods, yet when I went plant based (I say plant based as one of my medications isn't vegan and there is no alternative to it) I felt healthier and managed to get what I needed nutritionally. Yes, I do have some vitamin suppliments due to my condition, but that's not because of going plant-based, even then, I have far fewer suppliments than many others because my diet still covers everything I need nutritionally (it's not difficult, just plan it, like any other meal).
The only vitamin that is hard to get (and this is whether you eat meat or plant-based) is B12, and that's as a result of modern hygiene and sanitation methods to clean foods. B12 is in neither animal products or plants, it is produced by soil bacteria, the B12 before hygiene/sanitation methods would be on the surface of plants grown in soil. However, you can take B12 suppliments, eat foods fortified with B12, you can have marmite and/or nutritional yeast for example.
Another issue, not only is the animal industry incredibly cruel, barbaric, and violent, it is also very harmful to the environment, ecosystem, and climate, with animal agriculture being responsible for up to a 3rd of all global emissions.
I've noticed another thing meat eaters claim is that plant based foods are expensive, however, the only reason corpse products are relatively cheap is due to the massive government grants the animal agriculture industry gets, remove the subsidies and animal product prices woukd increase by more than 6 times. Many people would not buy the products simply based on cost and as a result most animal farms would go out of business. But hey, this would be, as the capitalists call (and claim to love), free market economics.
The animal agriculture industry is absolutely vile, it's evil, and full of (in any other context) what we would call psychopaths and murders.

Clif you mention you've been in these farms and seen them suffer - how would I go about this? If I find an animal rights group will there be planned infiltration visits to be able to get footage in farms and slaughterhouses, or do I have to break in somewhere myself? I want to be able to say the same thing, I've seen it for myself. I believe the footage like what Joey Carbstrong has found, but to see it for myself I can recall to people exactly what I see with my eyes when someone complains that I haven't seen for myself.

I think when people feel they've been cornered by a topic they can't win, they'll say the most ridiculous outrageous stuff just to throw the validity of the discussion out the window. Just curious why did you start? I never felt the fear that I needed to and it's been 33 years... My plant based almond drink doesn't have any in it either. I think I'm past needing them at this point

@@antonmilius5197 Some people have severe immune reactions when bitten by mosquitoes, so it's considered self defense. I personally use Neem on my skin to repel them, they won't come near.
As for B12, it doesn't exist in plants because it was created in a drug lab from the bacteria in raw cow's liver (to replace liver extract pills). Does anyone need raw cow's liver bacteria???
If it was a real vitamin, it'd be in the B-complex group found in many plants. Now it's just genetically engineered bacteria, like the kind used to make antibiotics, made from questionable sources and other toxic ingredients like coal tar.
I don't know any long-term vegans who have ever taken it, it's just recent fearmongering.
