I have the HIFI sound on my X3 (which sounds awsome), if i replace the oem display with this android nav, it will also replace the car sound sistem? It will use the sound processor of the android and downgrade the sound quality?
You are very concerned about the sound system, now I will reply to your question:
1. Use PEMP Android screen to replace the original car's screen, it will not change the original car's sound, it retains the original car's CD player and audio amplifier;
2. Make sure that your original car has an AUX input menu. The sound of Android is entered from the AUX of your original car. If there is no AUX menu, Android will have no sound. So it will not degrade your original sound quality.
3. The sound of PEMP Android screen is definitely not as good as the original car's CD and radio sound quality, and the sound quality is similar to the sound quality of your mobile phone input to the original car.
Will this fit on my car if my car already had that one small factory screen that came with it? Or does it need to be the compartment/non screen one?

Hello. I have exactly the same device. It was working perfectly fine for a while, but now it has no sound when I play something. The car radio is working, so problem is not the audio system, probably is the connection between the navigation and the aux. Do you know how to solve the problem?
If your product is from PEMP, there is an audio processor on the ISO harness. You can move it out for testing. Refer to the last step of the video below.

Yes, if your E83 doesn't have an AUX menu, you'll have to use an FM transmitter to get around the sound.

You should be able to hear the sound of Android. Please help me to confirm the following two things:

You should connect jack form wiring harnes with AUX on the back of handrest then change in radio to AUX, then u will hear sound from unit.
