Ich kann mir gut vorstellen, dass es extrem schwer fuer ein Orchester ist in dieser konstellation mit Mindestabstand zu spielen. Hut ab und danke, dass ihr die Schutzmassnahmen so konsequent durchzieht.
Und natuerlich danke, dass ihr die Konzerte hier hochladed. Das bringt mir viel freude bei der Arbeit.

Literarisch poetische Aunfführung dieses spätromantischen Meisterwerks mit bezauberndem Ton der genialen Soloflöte und mildem doch gut artikuliertem Ton des ebenso genialen Solocellos sowie gut harmonisierten und perfekt entsprechenden Tönen der anderen Instrumente. Die Virtuosität aller Einzelspieler ist auch lobenswert. Der unvergleichliche Dirigent leitet das ausgezeichnete Orchester im gut phrasierten Tempo und mit perfekt kontrollierter Dynamik. Einfach wunderschön!

Please watch this at the lowest quality only (144p) since it's just for the music, which is much more ecologically responsible than at a higher rate. Watching this at 240p (which is unnecessary for listening purposes), will increase the bandwith by double to almost tenfold! At 1080 the bandwith is augmented by a factor of 100!

I agree but I just want to say I think from this orchestra the visual performance from the soloists is just as important here. 😄 But I agree being more ecological should be everyone's goal.

As with some other of Saint-Saens' later scores, this is charming, beautiful music, but also totally unmemorable due to the lack of inspired melodic content. It is given every chance of success in this performance; however its limited interest made me think it would have been twice as successful at half the length.
Ce flûtiste devrait améliorer la chaleur de ses graves et.... bouger un peu moins ! Pour plus de poésie bucolique ...
