All I know I was at hatfield and McCoy's with a group of 30 almost all the machines you have mentioned and there was only one brand when we were out there that ran 100% no limp mode, no down times. And that was the Hondas. Now not everyone had down time but Hondas had none.

Started out with a 18 rzr S1000, now I have a 21 x3 base model. Where I ride 64" is max and while I strongly considered the pro xp I know a couple friends who have them and 1 had a blown engine with 600 miles and the other had major clutch problems. While that's only a small sample size it was enough to steer me away.
The only thing I hate about the x3 is servicing it. Oil changes are overly hard and taking taking seats out is a pain. The truth is there's no perfect machine. They all have their flaws.

For a good all around durable machine that has a good price point, you can't go wrong with a Teryx. They have a very good track record with not breaking down on the trails, and I will admit if your looking for something with more hp yes there is better machines out there. But with all the riding I've done with my family good luck driving over 40 mph for that long, and your average speed will be around 10-20 mph at best. So do you really need a 100up machine? The Teryx has a lot of power in low, and add the fact it has front locking differential you will find it hard to get it stuck. I've gone through some very bad mud and had no issues at all, and haven't used my winch yet in the past 2 years of owning it. The only negative I would give it that it's a little loud in the cab, but we use earplugs and that solved that problem. So that's my quick overall view of a Teryx. No matter what, just getting out on the trails is a blast.

I went with a DS Turbo R. Should be picking it up mid July. I'm mostly going to be driving dirt roads and open fields so I wanted something I could drift and jump. While still being small enough to ride on trails, the couple times a year I go to the mountains. Almost went with the Yamaha RMAX, but it's to wide for the trails I want to ride. Plus it's more expensive with 50 less horse power. However I'm guessing it would be more reliable and probably climbs better.

So I just rented a 2022 KRX1000 down in Huricanne for a day and ran it pretty hard around Warner Valley and Sandhollow alongside my well setup 18 XP4 Turbo. After spending a day with the 2 if I had to choose new/stock I think I'd go KRX. I know I'd miss the turbo from time to time but it would be rare and the smoothness of the clutch and steering on the KRX was just sooooo much better. My XP4 had a better ride but I also have shocktherapy springs and with it being a 4 seater it's just going to be soomther by default. That's likely the one thing that would keep me from buying a KRX, if it were only a 4 seater which I know we've all heard a million times.. What is Kawi waiting on?

Deranged Off-Road Will do! I’m going to be renting it out, I think a lot of people are going to be curious about its performance and to judge for themselves. Why not make a few bucks in the process?

You also don’t want to be that guy who is always breaking down and having to be towed out by your friends. Pretty soon you don’t have any riding friends. So let’s amend it to say you should have a machine that just as capable and reliable as your friends.

2 minutes in and we are already talking about keeping up with the jone's you dont HAVE to have what your friends have i work on all brands and i bought a t4 for 2 reasons 1 the wheel base 2 durability i get to laugh at all my friends in x3s and rzrs broke down and making 10 point turns to get through the switch backs they cant go everywhere i go they were too short sighted and worried about heing flashy dont listen just buy a quality machine that you can afford and get out and have fun even if its a t4 and sometimes the group runs off and leaves you you will catch up when they get hung up in the tight spots you dont have to spend 30k to have some fun

I agree. No need for wide stance and turbos. Like reliable, agile machines here on West Michigan's tight trails.

Yes you need a turbo and don't mess around you want the fastest so just get a can am x3. I driven a few non turbo machines and I would never want one. My friend bought a non turbo razor 4 door and said he didn't need all that power. He drove my x3 and sold his razor 3 days later and bought a 4 door x3. It does it all crawl cruise trails and hold the fuck on type of driving. Anything else is really a class behind it.
