I think few games have aged so gracefully as Gran Turismo 3 and 4, they are just visual masterpieces
You said it, still got it on my ps2 and use a hdmi adapter to get 1080p quality and the game looks visually impressive and its a 2005 game it puts alot of racing games that came out in later dates to shame in terms of graphical quality
@@carsforlife1334 You can't get 1080p in GT4 on the PS2, only 1080i and you need component cables.
@@carsforlife1334 Also GT3 and GT4 have the best career modes that I have ever played in a video game, at least in my opinion. GT1 and GT2 also have great career modes.

It has soo much Racing, A huge car list for it’s time, great track selection and the graphics were cutting edge for the PS2 etc.

Getting gold on those damn license tests was so difficult at times.
I love the roof cam on this game, you could see the front of your hood and the width of the car in the same shot. So much better than any other camera for a racing video game that I've played so far.

I was playing GT1 since after my PS3 broke 2 years ago, i would rather buy another but im getting the OG one because i could play PS2 games like MK Shaolin Monks, SVR 2005 and NFS Hot Pursuit 2 PS2, PS4 is trash without backwards compatibility.

Gran turismo is just. Different.
There's a plugin for pcsx2 that allows you to use a force feedback wheel. I been using a G920 on GT4 and Need for Speed and it actually works really well. Kuru could come back to these ps2 games using a wheel.

If you want gold on all licenses in gt4 you pretty much have to have a steering wheel with pedals and a shifter plus turn off all driving aids
The licenses in this game are actually really easy. I only remember having problems with one test.
