For lighting and if you're a mobile DJ, I'd highly recommend the WMX1. Great gig log, always enjoyable watching them. Question: Have you ever considered adding a water based haze machine? It really adds the final touch to any lighting setup.

Hi Barr, great setup. Following your logs for a long time. Just a question. Why do you use te ableton controller with mydmx and not the iPad? Iâm thinking of buying mydmx. Iâm using lightroom with a iPad now. Just want to know if the lightshow will be better with mydmx and a controller. Greetings Hans
For the PA i would use white speakers and stands, everything else looks amazing!

My Srx815p amplifier broke weird sound comes from it and smells like burning so now have to get a replacement amp because i think it hasnât got warranty i got it in 2019
I didn't have to replace my amp but, it did smell like burning.
Throw the sub behind your booth a few inches from the wall. You have a seat, cleaner look and you'll have better throw to the middle of the dancefloor.

Any advice when doing the reception on a marbled floor venue? More or less equipment/ etc? Iâm concerned about sound bouncing everywhere.
not much to worry about for the marble floors because when you get the people dancing, they create a sound barrier to keep the music from bouncing everywhere. However, if you don't get people dancing well, expect echoes everywhere. sometimes when the venue is super big and not enough people are there to create that barrier it will echoes iven if they are dancing. hope that helps.

when voice coils get hot they can stink up a little bit, it can be fine, many high end speaker companies pre-cook their coils but JBL probably doesn't
That makes sense. I haven't been able to replicate the issue.
@@BayardoRugama usually it's a one time thing, I build custom PA subwoofers and my supplier pre-cooks their coils so they don't make any smells on the first time they're pushed hard

I saw a 360 photo booth at one of my gigs a boa got caught in the bottom of the booth then they tried to blame it on the client she did not bring the props the vendor did

I think the 360 has its downsides, and is definitely a fad. What happens if the internet is out or there is no Wi-Fi at a venue. How does your guest get their product? Also, a lot of older guests Iâve noticed donât engage with this product.
