Damn that's one good looking '68! I also have a '68 C10 longbed, but it has rear leaf springs and not the trailing arm suspension like they normally have.
I was wanting to make mine a shortbed, but after seeing some nice looking longbeds, including yours, I think that I'll save myself the expense and keep mine the way it is and just do my upgrades.

Very interesting, different choice of colors for sure. Lord knows everyone had a different wallet but it has a painted or powder coated, at least remove the clutch pivot frame bracket. The tailgate latches & door will scratch the paint when used unless plated of your choice. OEM were galvanized, other choices are tin/chromate conversion (Yellow Zinc) as it did my booster, offset brackets and master cylinder lid & bail handles. To each his own but you have more done than me, as I finish my 3rd attempt at electrode lead placement for my lumbar stimulator that still don't work, RFA, 5 fusions, 1 done twice, and I am 60 but tall. Hurts bad! Lots of work guys. Don't forget internal cavity wax everywhere and drain holes open as dozens of them!

Nice job, I dig the color. People don't realize the amount of time from fab work, body work, primer, paint, wet sand, buff etc. that takes hours and hours. I think you guys are doing a great job, keep it up!!
