- This C10 came to me completely disassembled and after sitting in someone’s yard for years.
It was a Junk it or Save it project!
Customer didn’t want a truck so nice that he would worry about it getting a ding. That works out perfectly because I only build FunDrivers!
Challenge accepted!
Step 1 : Slap it together and make it a Driver.
Step 2 : Jam it and do the interior.
Step 3 : Prep for paint
About a year later
Step 4 : Color
Not Perfect but Definitely

Chevy C10 ran with the CST as the highest trim level from 1967 thru 1970. In 1971 the CST name was dropped and became the Cheyenne trim level. Awesome color choice!
I learned that trick many years ago and it works very well. I typically use a piece of inexpensive heavy twine rather than an extension cord. Anything large enough to pull the rubber back from the body will do.
The color looks awesome on this truck. Great job all that worked on it.

My dad had that truck, same color, three quarter ton version, 350, four speed. Fastest thing in our little town in northwest Missouri in the early 70’s. Ask me how I know😏

I know exactly where that seat cover was made because at one time there would have been a good chance I was one of the people that worked on it.
