Really coming together! Sammy's 67 is the inspiration for the 67 longbed I am building now. I saw it for sale a few years ago and Shaughn Reid said I shouldn't pass it up. I never stopped thinking about his old Nascar shop truck. I miss that cool bastard. At least Calin is making his dad proud.
Hey lucky that awesome that you kept the Rims and tires for 15 inch ! It just needs a fresh coat of red oxide primer and get it weathered! Killer truck!
There are certain cars that I take an instant like for. It can be any type sports, classic, muscle, euro, import fast and slow. This truck has joined that list...great job lucky.
And you can always drill and tap the very outside edge of the rims and screw moon discs on it for more of a Bonneville racer look. Truck is looking sweet!
That looks good Lucky,I like the old school sizes. I ran 295/50-15 on 10's and 245/60-15 on 8's 25 years ago in 1993 on my '70 ......Still have the truck and wheels.Lol!
Love the truck! Sits perfect I just bought my first C10, 67 also. Can you tell me what kind of drops you have in the front and the back and what you used?
i went to school with sams son, and worked with roland later, sorry about sam passing away a few yrs ago. they always had the 2wd blazers were the 1st and only i would see for yrs when i was growing up in redondo
My '70 is the same way. The cross member attaches with a dozen bolts. It might be possible to redrill the mounting holes, but to keep the geometry of everything else right, you'd also need to move the steering box, idler mount, sway-bar mounts, and so on forward my the same amount. Still, it could be kind of sweet to take it a little *too far* forward, as that is a pretty cool look. An inch ahead of center might do it.
certain tubular control arms and spindles will solve this issue. If you want to go further, an aftermarket crossmember will do the trick, although quite pricy
I just started painting the wheels for my '72 C20, gotta find some new rubber for them and start getting them swapped over...I went with the 2006 and up Chevy 8 lug 5 hole stock wheels, and they look great in white to match the body of the truck...up next I've gotta lower it...
Lucky that thing is sweet!! Nice job. Thanks for letting us in on this, and all your cool stuff!
That thing looks amazing. Thanks for saying what they are and how much they are that's awesome. Keep up the good work.
Totally awesome. Takes me back to my teens in the 70's. I spent a lot of time in a similar C-10 that belonged to a friend of mine. Love it!
The whole truck looks perfect! Stance, patina, engine all look perfect.
It always amazes me how something like wheels and tires can make such a big difference, good or bad. Digging the Truck Lucky, keep up the great work.

Sits right, tires fill the space good, those wheels look slightly understated but still a little aggressive. On point.
