The World of Wonders Team Go Rocket takeover is here in Pokemon GO and it brings new shadow Pokemon and some powerful shadow legendaries. In this video I will go through all the details for the event, I'll go through some very useful tips including shadow Mewtwo raid counters and I'll go through which event Pokemon and raids are worth focusing on!

Great video! And very informative! There is one thing im confused about tho since im a returning player from a long time ago. Why would you want your IVs to be lower? at 6 :07 Isn't higher IVs better?
for cp capped leagues low attack IVs r generally better since you can usually push your pokemon 1 or 2 levels more before reaching the max CP, compared to a perfect one. Attack is the most significant for high CPs so for example a 15/15/15 will have higher CP on lv 25 than a 0/15/15 on lv26.5. the 0/15/15 one will have better stats on Defense and Hp tho (in PvP tankiness etc matters more than in PvE). The exact "perfect" pvp IV r individual since you wanna be as close as possible to the CP limit
its a bit hard to describe imo but i hope you understand. Basically: low attack = lower CP = higher lvl = stronger Def & HP

Nice video !! Im confused about the IV on pvp like i dont know why its better to get low iv ?
Low atk IV and high def and stamina. Let's you cram in more stats before reaching a CP cap because CP is weighted heavier in atk. So 0/15/15 is generally better for great and ultra league on many Pokemon

Also, for those who are doing the Masterwork there are only 2 to focus on for Step 1: Johto: Murkrow; Hoenn: Sableye. Unfortunately, there are no grass for Step 2, but if you are at Step 3, Murkrow and Vullaby are Flying.

Consider walking Pancham during this event if you want to evolve it. You need to catch 32 Dark Types to evolve it and all the featured mons are dark types.
I have a question if I were to do a shadow mewtwo raid in the 30th or the 31st will NJ cities work? And is there specific time that shadow mewtwo comes and goes on that day like does shadow mewtwo come like 10:00 am to like for a hour and it rotates?
Ima save my super rocket radar for what I Hope is Shadow Rayquaza because I already know Mega Rayquaza is a Beast DPS wise

What's recent shadow from Giovanni ? Kyogre? If my girlfriend got 7 groudon and 1 with 98% and she not got kyogre so i think it would be better for her to get shadow kyogre then next groudon?

I have done the research but I encountered shadow kyogre. I have already used the radar. Does this mean I won't be able to encounter the Groudon anymore?
I never had the opportunity to do the last mewtwo raid. If this is the same will mewtwo be at all gyms every hour or will it be random for the days? Thanks
They will be at random gyms unfortunately
@xSavik and it sucks In a small town like I'm in. They also always refuse to show up, and you basically have to watch campfire all day to find one
Yeah shadow raids are a pain in the butt, we have to drive all over town, if i play from 12 to 8pm im lucky to get 20 shadow raids done... because most people dont wanna play that long and you have to wait around to get more people

So how many super rocket radars can we get during the event? I'm just coming back to Pokémon from 2016
really just depends on how badly you want it, I would say if you spent like 4 hours of your day you might be able to get 4 if you're in a good area, otherwise you can maybe get 2 a day if you got stuff to do.
If i have multiple rocket raiders can i get more then 1 shadow groudon
I dont think im gonna get Shadow Mewtwo bc I live in a Little city in Italy named Acerra and only some player do raids, literally only me, my brother and my Friends do raids and play Pokemon every single day. But anyway ill still try to do It :/

Dang … I ran out of revive after the Krogre and Groudon events. Now come the shadow Mewtwo 😅 then shadow Groundon. Still have a bunch of death Pokémons to be revived and no time to built up my stock. Max revive is expensive…. This game is not for kids anymore.

if I already have a regular groudon should I use my only elite charged for precipice blade? I know you did say, but for pvp, shadow is better for raids?
and if I already have regular groudon should I just save my super rocket radar for a future shadow legendary?
Shadow is better than regular for raids unless you use primal reversion on a regular. A primal Groudon is a better raid attacker than shadow Groudon. regular Groudon is better for pvp.
@@pogotrnr can shadows not turn primal? since I do have 6 groudons I got from the raid day, which I can use primal reversion on two of them since I barely got enough. so regular is better in every aspect if you have primal

Keep the the shadow mewtwo if it has good IVs and raid for the regular one or when mega comes out

how does a premium green battle pass work, im new with shadow raids and have never done one before, really want to get shadow mewtwo.
The premium battle pass is basically the same as the orange in person raid bass but it can also be used for the premium track in go battle league - for shadow raids you have to use orange or green passes

I'm saving mine, because I already have a strong primal groudon, which is better than the shadow, but the shadow is still very strong. There is no wrong choice
Doesn't matter actually. Get both imo when you get shiny with atleast 10-10-10 then you can just purify it so that it can mega evolve

Good question, Groudon is generally a bit better than kyogre because it has a bit more pvp relevance, however it could also depends on whether you need a water or ground type attacker the most

you say some Pokemon need this IV 0,14,14 but what if i get a IV 15,15,15 will that be good Pokemon and better then 0,14,14 ?
the 0 in the ivs is the attack. it is primarily important in great and sometime ultra league to have an attack stat of 0 as it corresponds to more cp. basically you want the highest level of your Pokemon and more health and defense to be able to fire off more charge moves while still maintaining under the cp limit. since in master league there is no limit the preferred ivs are 15/15/15.

Your actually able to hold up to 11 gems if you have 9 gems and 3 shards before you defeat a shadow legendary raid you’ll get 7 gems and it will add up to 11 I’ve had it before when I was grinding shadow raikou
