This was by far my favorite interview yet! I think because all three of you were on point bringing different perspectives to the discussion. Zoe's approach is so different than your usual guests, William is getting really good at crafting open-ended interview questions, and Brian keeps it on track by interjecting to expand at the right times to give it that authentic, improv feel that's so on brand.

As a closet medievalist I throughly enjoyed this interview! My area of study focuses on borderlands, material culture ( especially food and fashion) , and identity ( how and why people describe or identify themselves versus the ways other people paint them. I just love this episode sooooo much. Thank you guys. You NEVER disappoint. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

  • @benedictinex

Excellent interview. I love when passionate people can build connections between the ttrpg hobby (which is really a family of hobbies) and other disciplines.

  • @TheMariosack

    Really fun guest! Good episode

  • @cameronmurrell-byrd7738

    Today we ponder tomes!

  • @thomasrapp992

Great episode! As someone with a History degree with a minor in Asian Studies and is currently working on my own video game as a solo indie developer (hoping to be a narrative designer one day), it was very interesting hearing from someone on the inside of the game industry with a similar background.

  • @webanator

Awesome video. More interviews would be great.

  • @duanebradway1627

Any of the stories to do with the Volsung, such as the stories focused around Siguard, are some of my favorites.

  • @rhystide5215

Fantastic Episode as always, but now we have experienced double Will vision nothing else will be the same.

One of the best, keep up the good work. I did not know that reading midieval menuscrips about beer gets you in to the gaming industrie. I do love that I can change the clases of the preset charcters. in older games even from the same studio. its anoying that you cant use that character because you need that healer so you need to to put in that one character again. cause you need a healer. I have no clue if its simpel but its an amazing thing they did.

  • @RulesAttorneyGeneral

Besides Dungeon Crawl Classics, what were the games where magic was dangerous to use?

  • @okamiv5

She jokes but one of my best story arcs was when my players had to be lawyers/solicitors for the fighter

  • @gabrielr7511

I really like magic having an extra cost. I haven't played it yet, but I do own a copy of the DragnAge RPG that features costly magic.

Can you guys do a video on how to make the ultimate character creation for seducing? I want to win every encounter by seduction. Goblins and kobolds at lvl 1, Orc orgy at lvls 3-4, eventually ending by making sweet love to Orcus. I am thinking bard, but maybe a wizard focusing in illusion. I'd really just like to see you waste an hour on this topic.
