    I got this mold when I first started and never had issues with it at all. It’s way thicker than the one you use but no trouble. I don’t have to do those extra steps of adding chocolate to the edges either. I just keep loosening up the sides very carefully like 2 or 3 rounds and it comes right off just don’t push down on the heart as your removing the mold

    Can you do a video on filling the letter molds? I just can't get it right. I used the brown ones; then bought the groovy letters in the white silicone mold. With both, it seems like even though I pipe the chocolate in, it just fill in certain places and I only find out when I remove the letters. Also, if there is extra chocolate in the areas of, say, M, H, I can't remove the chocolate. The letter breaks. The letters seem to break when I'm trying to remove them from the molds usually. HELP! LOL!!

    Which heart mold do you prefer to use" this one or the floppier one you have used in the past? I ask because it seems like you would have to use up more of your chocolate with this one. I own this one, but don't have a floppy one. I haven't use my heart mold yet.

    • @PrettyPastelPastries
      @PrettyPastelPastries  Před 3 lety

      Hi Maranda 👋 I love both molds they have their own quality’s. The other one I use is more flexible, shiny and uses less chocolate to cover the heart. It is also easier to remove and takes less time. As for the new one I’ve just used, it does take more time and chocolate overall. I Iove the shape of this one more and also loving the matte finish. Personally I now prefer this one. Both are unique and amazing overall !

      @@PrettyPastelPastries Thank you, Can you also do a video on how to fill the letter molds and remove the letters? Mine keep coming out with areas that are not filled in with chocolate, and they break when I try to remove excess from the sides or in the middle of the letter.

    So two things…my meltables aren’t as liquidy so I cant fill the same way you do by moving it around…the more I melt it actually starts getting harder and two after it’s in the freezer and then I add another hot layer of melts it starts melting the layer that froze! How is adding more hot layers supposed to keep the shake if it keeps melting

    • @PrettyPastelPastries
      @PrettyPastelPastries  Před 3 lety +1

      Hi Monica, for this specific mold it is naturally matte as opposed to the other mold I regularly use that one is always shiny. Unfortunately there is no way to make this mold shiny

  • @stephaniehernandez3677

    I tried doing that but the chocolate will freeze up real quick on the second coat. How is it running smoothly on yours 🤷‍♀️

    • @PrettyPastelPastries
      @PrettyPastelPastries  Před 3 lety +2

      Hii Stephanie, I would recommend to check your chocolate consistency and make sure it is still runny as in the first coating. If it's a little thick, add it into the microwave for a few seconds and stir. The last option would be to add an oil like vegetable, coconut or melted paramount crystals. Hope this helps! Thank you for watching 💓
