awesome stuff man, loved your videos since subscribing. I'm an amateur angler myself based in SD too, setting up my kayak gear at the moment... From what I've gathered, I should expect to get reels accomodating 30-65 lb braid spooled at least 4-500 yards? What do you think?

Hi Gpettooh, I just use the cheap mustad gaffs they have at Dana Landing. I prefer 4' bamboo for kayak, and i like a smaller gaff hook size for these inshore target species. The bigger gaff hooks are harder to sink and do more damage to the meat.

I'm looking for a little advice, I live in the Caribbean and I'm considering kayak fishing down here, it's not common but I want to start. Can you recommend me a fish finder sub US$500 for that?
