Looks like a combination of Independent baseplate, Ace hanger, and Krux kingpin. It was nice that you provided the weight of the truck. An axle height would have been nice. Looking forward to the more in depth review
If that's the case I might get some eventually, that's exactly what I've frankensteined together for myself right now lol

The Tactics page says they have a 54mm height.
The yoke looks like a Thunder truck how its squared behind kingpin and where you see the axle housed in the hangar

They really feel like an ace/Indy hybrid. There’s nothing krux about them imo though lol.

I completely agree that they feel like the offspring of an Indy and Ace. I bought the nine inchers and I think they're significantly lighter than my classic 55s. I freaking love em!

this truck is what i thought the indy mids would be when they came out, still skating my pair and yes it had the iron cross on it so I guess it mustve been an early batch. Too heavy and i cant tighten them enough with the stock bushings for my weight (200lbs+) and my bones bushing switching days are over. These look amazing however ive learned my lesson and will wait until they release either the 2nd or hollow version. Thanks for the review!

about to go skate mine, just feel like a the ST1 just feels like a High AF1. indy standard height but AF1 turn. feel like im about to get hella wheel bite.

Just got my Slappy Trucks. I didn't go with the hollows because i am putting them on a purposely built slappy board. They didn't habe the inverted king pin in the size i needed ar the local shop but there is still a lot of clearance. I built the board last month but have been traveling for work. So next weekend will be the first ride.
Let me know how you like them. I think even the standard model has loads of KP clearance so you’ll be good
Do a side by side comparison with a slappy truck and an independent truck please
They literally took direct design features from all the top truck makers and incorporated them into these trucks.

Great review but I can’t find where to buy any of these anything bigger than 8.25 I’m looking for 8.5 or 9.0
I believe tactics has them all the way up to a 9” last I checked

I ride trucks super loose like the hanger shakes loose, do you think I could get the inverted king pin Slappys that loose?
You’d probably need to remove a washer from the bushings tbh. Or even shave down the bushings themselves. It might get tricky because the inverted KP.

indy baseplate with an ace hanger. why dont you measure the height of the axle?
I know I should have included that but forgot. I’ll be measuring them in my final review in about a month
It looked like they were very tall. Even if you didn't have the inverted kingpin, it looked like there was a lot of kingpin clearance. Indys are already tall and when comparing side by side they looked a lot taller than Indys. I can't stand low personally. For example, Thunder. The turn sucks compared to Indy. I don't see what the point of having a truck that is so low that it impedes being able to turn and causes wheel bite. I have found that I am mostly fine on Indys with wheels even as big as 64mm without risers.
These are 54mm tall. 1mm less than indy actually.
My thunders seem to turn just as well as my indies 🤷

The inverted king pin .. didn't deadbolt and gullwing try to do like grind king 👑 copy them in the 80s... ?? So I don't understand why indy didn't do that in the past back then in 80s.. or maybe they did..

All base plates are the same size due to the bolt formation.
The AF1 baseplate is different. The holes are set back more leaving more material at the base of the truck. I wish I had a venture and a Thunder to compare them to. I may have to stop by a skateshop for the next video just to compare
Indy and Thunder have very different base plates. Try putting a riser made for Indy on a Thunder.

So basically it's a high truck .. I ride riser with Indy and ace ... Would be nice to not need to buy risers anymore ✊
What size wheels are you on?
@@dadboard I'm on 56 - 60mm ... The truck specs are in the instant now btw ✌️
@@thedude1187-q9q I’d still put risers on regardless in that case. These trucks definitely help prevent wheelbite but they’re not immune if you’re running that big of a wheel
