Could you make a video where you explain what you eat in a day? Not a regular day at home, but when you go out to eat, or eat at a friend's home, or when you go to a birthday party where there is hardly any healthy food, or what you eat when you travel. What do you drink when you go for a drink with your friends? I try to be carnivore, but I find those situations really difficult.

I enjoyed y'alls conversation and I'm also a fan of Dr.Berry. He made me LOL when he called his channel "little" at 25:29. I'm seriously considering taking that Carnivore challenge but I am human and still haven't given up on some of my weaknesses such as pico de gallo, guacamole, and garlic, peppers, and onions. Yeah I know it can only benefit me to do so but like I said it's a few of my weaknesses. So far in the past decade I have given up all alcohol, smoking, and now carbs. All of which were killing me and I've been an inulin dependent diabetic since I was 28. I got put in a W/C on the day I turned 39 from myelitis which I was told after I was discharged from the hospital that it was from West Nile virus which I'm questioning now if that was really the case. If you're familiar with the shirt I'm wearing I'm also a huge fan of TLAV and he's also opened my eyes on many things as well as Dr. Berry on different subjects of course. Check him out if you haven't done so but I warn you, his shows are 3-4 hours long LOL!😁

Bella, here are my carnivore benefits starting September 1, 2022 at 69 years old and 236 lbs.
    1. By week three my insomnia was mostly gone. For 35 years I’ve slept on average 2.5 to 3.5 hours a night and I tried dozens of insomnia “cures”. I would lay in bed for 7 hours, but was unable to sleep for most of it. Now I’m sleeping 4.5 to 6.5 hours every night!
    2. My arthritic fingers are getting better. I had 3 fingers that were bent at the top joint. One straightened out completely, a second is mostly straight, the third has not much change yet. My arthritic pain in my hands and back have gone down about 70%.
    3. My lower back has become much more flexible, like it was in my 30s.
    4. Since Sep 1st, I easily lost 36 pounds.
    5. I only go #1 once during the night now. Before I would go 2-3 times a night, which made it harder to sleep.
    6. I only go #2 once every three or four days. Saves time! LOL
    7. Much less meal prep and dish washing. I usually eat a big breakfast with six jumbo eggs with sausage or bacon, then a half hour later or so will eat roughly 700 calories more of animal products and then I’m done for the day.
    8. Much less grocery shopping and spending money on food. Veggies per calorie are very expensive.
    9. I’m intermittent fasting for 23 hours every day.
    10. I drink a lot more water, roughly 8 to 10 cups a day.
    11. I’m never hungry. (But to be fair, I started intermittent fasting in October of 2018 and have not been hungry since then.) But I still have light cravings for junk carbohydrate foods and drinks.
    12. My blood pressure lowered from an average of 130/72 to an average of 108/66.
    13. I have lost over ten pounds of water retention which has ended my chronic inflammation.
    14. I now have an expanded wardrobe. Clothes I haven’t been able to fit into for thirty years are now an option to wear! LOL

I would love Dr. Berry to address how to increase metabolism. I'm never hungry, I make myself eat to get 100g protein in and enough fat to get as closest 80/20 as possible.

We keep learning so much together, there are many healing stages along the way. Just learned that obesity and high liptens keep us from loosing weight until the liptens come down. The body is clearing them since Carnivores are no longer eating them. Wow! Adding Omega 3's sardines, cod liver, what ever the favorite little fishes, twice a week, keep us in ketosis. Amazing. I chose Carnivore for health reasons, I didn't bounce back after surgery and veganisim for a year. My gut is going through healing now, I really don't feel like eating and don't want to lose more weight.

The only real problem I've had with being on carnivore is that after shedding 50 lbs of insulating fat, I started getting really cold while going fishing in 40 degree weather. I added more layers of clothing and got some wool socks, which helped, but not enough. I decided to try upping my fat intake an hour before going out to the water and it has been almost miraculous! I stay warmer and often have to take off an outer layer because the sun started shining on me. I had started wondering if I'd have to give up fishing for the winter, which just wouldn't help my seasonal mood disorder at all. Edit: Also, thanks to you, I figured out why my weight loss has stalled; I can actually feel my bones becoming more dense, like they were 15 years ago and I figure that's why the scale is showing the same weight, but my clothes are falling off! To the woman whongained 50 lbs on carnivore, one thing Dr. Berry didn't mention, is to consider the impact of medications. Meds like blood pressure meds, anti-depressants, and antihistamines not only can cause weight gain, but can cause excessive hunger, and affect fat cells to the point it makes it hard to lose fat. I think the assumption was, she was not on any meds. Look up how antihistamines cause weight gain.

Loved this video. For those like me that were still struggling with macros etc, Nutrition with Judy just put out a very helpful video. So many people are under eating like I have been and then not losing. Hoping this will turn things around, I just wasn't eating enough protein or fat and thought I was. Also she gives a great understanding on finding the proper ratios to make sure you're eating enough. Caffeine blues book also for people still doing coffee and tea and how it really can mess up your adrenals etc.

Hello all Carnivores, I started my journey in Carnivore Land in October when I did not succeed very well in getting help through the health care here in Sweden. Have had a number of autoimmune diseases since I was a child, first was psoriasis, then gluten intolerance and lactose intolerance, in my teens I got psoriatic arthritis. Used crazy amounts of cortisone for many many years which eventually gave me severe osteoporosis. Spontaneously broke ribs, for example, when I sneezed. In the end, a vertebra came off in the lumbar spine and I shrank 12 cm. almost 5 inches. Autoimmune diseases are on the rise, P.O.T.S, Diabetes, leaky gut, reflux problems and so on. I tried to get stem cell treatment but no help from the healthcare system. my skeleton is breaking down constantly, broken shoulders, replaced a hip that died, great pain in the lower back. So I decided not to give up and that's when I discovered Carnivore. Read everything I could find. Prepared myself and started October 2022. The result so far: Diabetes values perfect, Psoriasis much better stopped with biological injections, reflux completely gone, no more brain fog, blood pressure better, mostly super clear in the brain, lost 48 pounds, was at 266 in October. You become incredibly inspired by the results, which makes it easy to resist cravings for bad food. Have a question too. My adrenal glands had basically shut down completely and I unfortunately medicate for that with hydrocortisone. The doctor said they would never start again, but last time I had almost twice as good values. Do you think it could be due to Carnivore? Kind regards, Lars 🤗

Been carnivore for a month now and I’m down 20 lbs. I am doing it mainly to control my RA, but I do lift weights pretty hard 5 days a week and I’m only 40. I started at 250lbs and I’m currently 230, leaner and even stronger with the loss of weight, surprisingly. My RA already seems to be getting better as well. My knees and ankles no longer hurt so bad I walk funny in the mornings and much of my shoulder and low back pain has lessened as well. I’m eating about 2500 cals a day roughly and feeling great.

I loved what he said about glucose testing, because I had learned it didn't take into account the fructose. But, WOW, I didn't even think about galactose! That is crazy....galactose is 10 TIMES more glycating than glucose?!? I won't be sad anymore that dairy and I don't get along. Puts a whole other level to the mindset to not miss dairy! Sort of like I do NOT miss gluten...or any grains.

Thank you for answering the question on the weight gain. I have gained 25-30 pounds since starting a year and 4 months ago on both High Protein / Moderate Fat + High Fat / Moderate Protein approaches on a very strict lion diet and was wondering what I should do about it next. It isn't "good weight" either, I straight up developed love handles and my entire torso turned jiggly. Essentially went from ab to flab so I assume there is probably an underlying issue, I was very happy to hear Dr. Berry's answer so now I know exactly what I should be looking at. Thank you!

I switched to Carnivore, stopped the honey completely, cut the rice to just 2 ozs. per workout day, and voila! I've lost 10 lbs and 1 1/2 inches off my waist...I'm also sleeping much better. I had no reactions to the honey, but since I've stopped it and cut back on the rice, I'm losing fat, gaining muscle, and my belly is shrinking.
