    im italian (not neapolitan tho) and i usually just cut the soft tip off first with utensils and then proceed to eating the rest of the slice with my hands. many people do the flip thing tho or eat it entirely with utensils (if you're my dad)

      They're going by American standards. In America (I'm not American so don't take me for an authority) you have new york pizza which is similar, you have 'Italian' or thin crust pizza which is thin but cooked until the base is crispy and doesn't flop, or you have Chicago pizza which is very, very thick, and if you're Italian you should probably not find out about because you won't be happy.

    • @lisaturtle13
      @lisaturtle13 Před 8 měsíci

      Yes, that is VERY thin by American standards! Extremely thin. In America, most pizza crust would probably be considered like focaccia bread to Italians. It is thick and can be a little oily.

    If the pizza napoletana is thin, what is the romana then? Make a video to correct the wrong piece of info

      I think she means thin compared to the weird American pizza that’s a lot more dough, this looks like normal pizza to me 😊

      Neapolitan pizza is not much thicker than Roman one. It seems thicker because there are more ingredients on it. Except the border of course.
