There are a lot of tourist ares in La Union. One of the most diverse Provinces in the Philippines. It has waterfalls, caves, rice terraces, view decks, sea of clouds, mountain resorts, rivers, eco parks, lagoons, man made forest, stone house, mini pyramid, river resto, chinese temple, santorini inspired resorts, lotus farm, grape farm, historical churches and watch towers. Diverse beaches (black, gray, coral, pebble, beige and white sand). Aside from surfing, you can do a lot of activities like playing volleyball, wind surfing, kayaking, zipline, atv ride, body jump, wall climbing, australian rundown etc. You can also experience night life in La Union. You can experience Night Market( Street Foods), Beach Party, Strolling at the plaza specially in San Fernando etc.
Fun fact, La Union is the original Beach capital of the PH via Knowledge Channel during 70s and a lot legendary local celebrities had already visited La Union during 60s/70s like FPJ, Nora Aunor, Susan Roces etc. Rosana Roces a known sexy star of the PH during 90s was a club dancer before in La Union club when she's still not yet a celebrity. La Union has been always a film shooting locations for Filipino movies and Tv series.

There’s lots to do there… next time when you have more time. Go see immuki island, Bahay na bato and watch tower, tangadan falls, PUGad, grape picking are only some of the the things to do in La Union. San Juan is not the only Launion. We have the sea, the mountain, falls, surf, culture and food.
Oh we actually explored some of these places you mentioned. It’ll be on the next vlog ☺️❤️
Agree there are a lot of activities and beautiful tourist areas in La Union. La Union is not only San Juan that is known for "Surfing" or a "Beach Party". La Union is a diverse and a wide Province. Even its capital city which is in San Fernando City, La Union alone has a lot of tourist places. Just try to search and to explore. Take note: San Fernando City, La Union is the regional center of whole Region 1 or Ilocos Region

With all the hype, Urbiztondo Beach San Juan has become so expensive.
But you need to experience it, so whenever I am there I just look for a place to stay, not that expensive and try eating your main meals in these little eateries just like what we have beside LORMA school. Then we just visit random places for coffee or snacks near the beach.
There are a lot of places especially EL UNION coffee, a must visit for their coffee and also MAKAI Bowls for their smoothie and that view in Great Northwest!
Overall, weekend party at flotsam and Kabsat should make your ELYU experience memorable. I love the cocktails hahaha try it too!

Stop by San Esteban, Ilocos Sur on your way to Vigan! Nice beaches in Apatot. The North is just beginning to get discovered by travelers. Enjoy your trip… Ilocanos are the friendliest people.

Been there last week. Really hot and humid. Take some pics at Banauang Bridge in Bantay, Ilocos Sur. View is amazing. Try the sinanglao at Vigan. It's their local version of bulalo.
