  • You're not going to always know right off the bat if a panel is high strength steel or not untill you start the repair. Even once in awhile Mobile Tech Rx isn't always updated. This dent took a bit to get it to move.
Using the latest www.kecotabs.com "Dead Center Tabs" I show bits of clips how it was done.
Along with the No Roll tap down from www.edgytools.com and www.willeyquicktools.com

When chrome bumpers use to be "the thing" LOOONG time ago, there use to be a dude who served dealers in our area that would remove the bumpers and use large nylon versions of the tap-downs we use in PDR to pound them out from behind. They didn't come out perfect, just better.

      - Hot glue won't dry and on a harsh body line convex curve like that, it won't begin to move the metal Also, if it is high strength steel, you could lose proper temper AND on white especially, burn the paint.

Dont think it's high strength steel, but it is on a very tight curve which makes it seem stronger than usual, think high strength steel is only used for structural not cosmetic part of the car.But that's only my guess.

Slow going there. Cars here have 50-75 on the rails. I blend them slightly first then just pull and pull until they’re gone. Key is fast set, fast pull, fast knock down, repeat.15-20 tabs at a time
