Dude. It's Buffalo. A democratically run city, just like ALL major (NOT that Buffalo is one) cities in America. You should be used to mediocre or less than acceptable leadership just as long as the "right" demographic and gender or otherwise unimportant details are "running" the show. DON'T ask questions. Being only a rung or two away from acceptable is the benchmark. It COULD have been worse and you could have gone full blown socialist with that Walton clown. I live in a smallish ghetto city here in Ohio and it's ineptly run, JUST like Buffalo is, but our mayor is an identity hire who sucks too, but at least she's the flavor of the decade ..... a black female, and it's the law.
