    Lets get this straight. . . the assault ban, magazine ban, and red flag LAWS already in place did NOT stop this from happening and the FIRST reaction is to pass more laws....

    were these writings he shared on his discord server? seems crazy you can write all this and discord isn't flagged to investigate. if so this could have been prevented and discord needs to improve.

    Yep, people you chose to bring another life into the world and you can't just be a parent to them when it is convenient for you.
    Children without an outlet will internalize everything until it festers and grows until they have to act upon it to get some form of release.
    You have to talk to them.
    Not yell or judge them.
    If you can't do that, get them a therapist.
    And if you can't do that then you should never have had a child to begin with.
