I was saying Alucard's line from the original Hellsing ultimate along with him saying the walk poem. "The Bird Of Hermes Is My Name, Eating My Wings To Make Me Tame"
just a note:
in the Form of DRacula it is actually implied it was anderson's best chance at killing Alucard, he had released all the souls he had in him making him as vulnerable as any other vampire
the second alucard was back to his usual form he was doomed to lose, and that's why he felt forced ot use the Nail
Wait, but did Alucard really absorb many people when he transformed into, well, himself? I thought he remained 'vulnerable' right up until he started drinking up all of London, minus his keeping Luke inside the dog of course.
Throughout the show it is implied multiple times and maybe even outright stated that Alucard hates himself. He hates that he's a vampire. He hates that he is a monster of the same ilk that he expresses disgust for at multiple points. The only reason he is still alive is that he believes in the humans that he serves under (The Hellsing family- Integra and her father and ultimately Abraham Van Hellsing) and wants to use his powers to assist them in ridding the world of other monsters.
Because of this, Alucard respects the strength of humanity above all else. That is why he grew to really respect Alexander Anderson. Despite some modifications to his body, Anderson is still, for all intents and purposes, human. And as a human, he stood equal to Alucard in their first encounter, enough so that Alucard had to request weapons specifically designed to help take him down.
So when Anderson rejects his human might and calls upon the strength of Helena's Nail, Alucard's respect morphs into hatred and disgust as he sees this worthy foe shed his humanity in pursuit of power. In his eyes, he turns into a monster no different from himself, and as such, he vows to kill him.
This is when Alexander dooms himself, not when Dracula returns to his Alucard form. In either form, he was just as vulnerable.
@@rainestar6781 Anderson never doomed himself, to be honest. When he used the Nail he did practically guarantee that Alucard and himself would fight to the death, but considering the two's respective powers he was also the favorite to win that fight. Alucard was nowhere near in control of the situation and just happened to win because the author needed him to.
I don't know how right or wrong I might be because I haven't read the manga start to finish, but isn't the Hellsing universe devoid of fate or destiny? Everything that happens is presented as happening naturally from the characters' actions. Therefore it shouldn't matter whether or not 'Card "vows" to kill Anderson, all that matters is strength.
@@ImmortanDan Anderson's plan was flawed from the get go. You have to ask to be forgivien to recieve absolution. If you believe in that sort of thing. Simply put... Alucard cannot be forgiven without first asking to be forgiven, and since he believes he is doing good work by killing evil fuckers with big guns well... he doesn't feel he should say sorry. He thinks God should say sorry.

I would actually love it if TFS would include an easter egg kinda crossover between their abridged universes and make it so Dende is actually the god in Hellsing Ultimate Abridged.

The Jackel (The black pistol that Alucard uses) was made by Walter as an Anti-Regenerator weapon because it disrupts the nanobots in Anderson's body. That's why he couldn't immediately heal from the wound to his arm.
