Anyone bought these? The JP 8080 in the video isn't as 'alive' as mine when I'm creating sounds like these. The ARP isn't active for a start. Am I missing something? Reviews of the bank would be ideal - none on the sellers webpage. Where's the reverb from? I use an Eventide Space - the 8080 doesn't have it. Shoot me down and I'll buy it in a heartbeat.
@@perorynparker5082 yeah I’ve had a good number of takers already, some of them in this comments section. No one leaves reviews but they do email me so maybe I’ll just snip them and put them on the website. I did put up a quote form Dash Berlin.
The arp isn’t active because it’s all MIDI from my DAW. The reverb I used was Valhalla shimmer.
Hey just bought it ! great sounds but it would be really nice to have the midi files for these classics as well
Thanks
@@ItamarBell Thank you
If you can go to my website and use the contact form so I can get your info, I'll send it to you: www.aiynzahev-sounds.com/pages/about (at the bottom)
Was that Solarstone's track at 3:15?
The Virus C/TI/TI2, Nord Lead line of synths, and the JP-8080/8000 will always have a special place in my heart and will always be legendary in my mind.
Gotta love those 90s VAs
Let’s not forget the NOVATION supernova and the Moog 37 for trance music 😎
@@Tarbash7364 and Yamaha AN1x & Waldorf micro Q too😁 AND vengeance soundsets hehe😜
What would you say has the best plucks out of all those you mentioned?
@@Tarbash7364 I was surprised to see the Moog 37. Do you have any names or links for that synthesizer used in trance or progressive house.
Out of The Blue stroke my emotion literally out of the blue
Wonderful melodies from the golden era of trance! Unfortunately, modern trance music does not have such beautiful sequences and does not give such an impression to listener.
What are you talking about‼️ dude, listen to FACTOR B - Sea of Thought. That song was created in 2022. Most trance artists these days have a whole lot of old school magic 🪄
Doesn't cone close. Sounds like plastic trash, as does all the other "uplifting" trance.
I still have a bunch of Hooj Choons vinyl.
I got CS6x+AN1exp, Virus TI, MicroKorg and M3+Radias EXP.
JP8080 is def next on my radar! ❤❤❤
Nice.
Unbelievably well programmed and played, you could think that it is the original solo synth tracks, simply great, all thumbs up!
Thank you!
Indeed, even CZcams audio algorithm thought it. A mark of good programming and accurate sounds. Congrats to @Sami Rabia (Specially loved Darude "Sandstorm"). I got a JP8000, though I am not into trance. Love it.
I luv trance because it reminds me of a time before the world went mad. Great patches!
so true
@@AiynZahevSounds2 years later I’ve actually purchased many of your patches. And enjoy tweaking them for my own production.
My jp8000 is collecting dust in a storage unit underground in downtown LA. Listening to this makes me want to go get it! Wish I had the room … maybe one day
Or better yet, Roland makes an vst that captures jp8000 exactly
Superb! "Out of the Blue" is perfect- sounds just like the original.
Just purchased this, fantastic emulations, fair play into managing to trick youtube into thinking this was actually the originals of "Out Of The Blue" and the "Better Off Alone (Signum Remix)"
The best JP8080 demo I heard in a long time. Perfect recreations :)
How powerful the JP-8080 enters the chest region with its sound is magical.
All the classic riffs from the early 2000s Beautiful!!!
Jesus Christ, this is as close to those late 90s Trance sounds as one could get besides a time machine or asking the producers themselves what settings they used. Actually, most of the producers probably couldn't remember the exact settings since they made these tunes so long ago. Well done!
I find it so strange to see one without the rack ears. I have OCD and like everything neatly in a rack. I even got a rackmount PC. But to each their own, I guess. 🤷♂️
Awesome song/sound recreations, though! I love catching bits of songs as I scroll through the presets of my JP-8080, and it just sounds so awesome.... just huge and alive... such juicy tones out of a digital synth... 🥰
This blows any vst away have never heard such clear sounds
Fantastic sounds🔥🔥😍😍😍😍
Amazing sounds can't wait to buy them
We need more of this! ❤️🔥
Just picked up this set of patches. Thanks for these!
OMFG, all my favorite sounds and tracks, really nostalgic moment 🙌❤
I played on a JP-8000 when they were first released. Sadly I was 17 and could not afford one.
This video convinced me to finally buy one 2 months ago (even though that era's Trance boom was over years ago) and I love it.
Even before I bought this pack Sami shared the MIDI with me and I have been "wow'ing" my friends with how damn spot-on these patches are.
It's fantastic that people like him are creating stuff to get others involved in vintage (damn that makes me feel old) hardware.
I cannot recommend this bank enough.
That's awesome. Thanks for the comment!
Nice demo! I love your Solstice version.
Great use of that JP!
WOW! Now, that's how it's done. Such an iconic synth.
Beautiful demonstration 😎🙌🏼
Wow, absolutely nailed those sounds man. What a beautiful synth.
Minute 1! 2! 3! All! My love! Thank you to remember that moments! The jp8080 strings and reverb are so beautiful with so energy.. thank you!
Nailed it Sami! Feeling nostalgic for my late teens- early 20's now 🎹👽📟🤘
very cool, these sounds carry a lot of emotion
That Solstice sequence is epic!
Awesome. Awesome TO THE MAXXXX!!!!
👏 spot on with those patches man. I want one now 😂
This is beautiful!
So many visions of the past come flooding back! Overwhelming my soul
I bought these presets, they are really good, they really show of the main reason why we love the JP8000, thank you, very happy 😃🙏
DAMN....! Instant GOOSEBUMP 😂
Good job. Thank you for video 🙂
This brings back more than a few "dancing all night" memories :)
❤❤❤❤ el trance classics es el sonido mas bello de este genero, son inolvidables eso rifff de synthesizer
So nostalgic :)
Magnificent recreations mate! Very authentic.
Thank you!!
oh wow, so many great melodies :) (carte blanche, synaesthesia, out of the blue etc.)
Incredibly authentic sounding. This was pretty much the greatest hits from Euphoria II compilation.
You did an excellent job with this Sami, well done!
Thanks!
Wow! Awesome job recreating all those sounds man. 🙌🙌🙌
Wow. The man himself who made these sounds in the beginning!
Awesome!
This brought back every feeling, every memory of completely losing it in a dark sweaty club and a bucket full of emotions too. Awesome work buddy. I want one of these so so so so badly hahahaha!
thx for doing this it is amazing.
Roland JP8000❤️. Forever.
Yes man!Corsten would be proud of you!
Amazing synth
wow! cant wait for this.
Brilliant mate. U do the JP proud ;)
Epic piece of music history. I’d absolutely love this synth 😍
i'm looking for a buyer jp8000
Superb. Feels like 1997 again :D Thinking of picking this up for my JP-8000.
Dew it
@@AiynZahevSounds I did🙂 I liked your Hive presets also, was most impressed with them, picked up that bundle as well.
Lovely machine...
So far very happy with this sound pack, can't wait to dive deeper into it and start writing some epic lines! The leads really come close to the early 2000 Sensation White era.
Smashed
Gave me goosebumps ❤
Thumbs up for the Solarcoaster! The rest is also a great selection, well done.
Wow man this just mede me feel 18 again
Wow einen Regler hoch und runter schieben, Applaus
incredible
cool, me like classic trance melodies, memorable
Hi Sami. Great patch, beautiful melodies and demos. And adorable machine! (Insigna)
That beautiful patch… with the melody… amazing track and amazing preset. This sound alone might make me buy a jp8080😅
lovely
I have no words, all the songs of my life in a one synth!
Good job.
so nice, almost makes me want to buy another JP8000 again
There's an aweful lot of "Ferry Corsten" going on here! :D
Just gotta love this machine! It is on so many great tracks!
awesome
Need to buy this for the Synaesthesia patch! 👀
I want a JP 8080 and make trance bangers with it.
Waiting eagerly for your soundest release…… and then maybe a week locked in the music room ha!
Sounds incredible! I bought the Novation Peak after hearing your soundbank and now you're making me want a JP8080 haha
A boutique 8080 feels inevitable though
@@AiynZahevSounds absolutely)
@@AiynZahevSounds I personally hope they do a boutique as well as a VST and add that to their cloud bundle just like the jd800. That would be superb and given its digital it’s possible! :)
Behringer just released a micro version of this
great work 👏👏👏 JP-8080 is timeless synthesizer
,,,,the JP-8080 still gives me goosebumps!…absolutely love the sound of the past ,so,so many amazing memories tied to these sounds🙏
Nice one, back to the times when we didn't have the choice out of 1000's of VSTs haha :-D
Yeah, being limited a few synths makes you think outside the box more to get something interesting
@@AiynZahevSounds exactly why I am ditching every vst but my u-he stuff and going all hardware: Subsequent 37 , Virus Ti2, Korg Opsix, Korg Wavestate, Sequential PRO 3, Arturia Mnibrute 2s + Rackbrute 6u , Behringer 303
@@happylittlesynth really nice set up. I really want some of those Korg synths too like the OPsix and Wavestate
Limitation breeds creativity. But name a vst that can do this
A really nice demo man!
I had one of these.
It was excellent but i just couldnt gel with it like i hoped.
waiting for the bank 👀 beautiful sounds
I'm wrapping it up today, should be out next week
It really is still the best trance synth to this day, and the only plugin I have heard that actually finally sounds like it is the Chro-8080 for Reaktor.
Forget Superwave (they were good 10+ years ago, for sure), Sunrizer (SO overrated), and so on. If you don't have Reaktor, your best bet if you are on Windows is still JP6K plugin, but I am on Mac, so the real thing or Chro is my only choice hehe. Love Sami's work btw, it's ttoz from KVR, just saying hi Sami! PS would love to see you make some epic presets for Chro 8080!
Wowwwww 😳
JP 8000/8080 is a beast
05:54 = pure old '90 f*****g stuff! woooooow!
Absolutely 🐱
Super Saw ON :D
Roland 👍🏼😌
Systemblue - my favourite
Thumbs up for Carte Blanche!
OOOOOOOFFFFTTTTTTTTTTTTT YES!!!!
OK... so I just bought this and updated my 8080. With a little work in Logic and using the same reverb (Valhalla Shimmer), I've got it sounding just like the demo video. Completely legit sound bank. Sounds awesome... just expect to do a little leg work yourself (which is right and proper). Thanks for the info Sami. G
Yes sir, well done and thanks for the feedback!
My mind needs nothing else... :D
I appreciate that you showed the settings on the JP8080. I knew a lot of these sounds were the super saw oscillators made famous by the Roland JP-series. However, on Carte Blanche what exactly is the feedback osscilator-1? I see that osslicator-2 is a saw but is it a 5 or 10 voice oscillator.
I know the Virus Ti and Waldorf Kyra can also do super saw oscillators. Are there any other synthesizers that can mimic this sound. As in, I can't imagine a Prophet or Moog doing these types of with analog subtractive synthesis.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. I grew up with these songs and I've only started production and currently learning synthesis. I have both the Virus Ti2 and Kyra. Hence, I would like to do something similar.
Hope they ever release a boutique version of that blue monster
Holy crap hombre! Not only did you nail the patches & combo performances, but you got the chords & riffs perfect!! Pls tell me there's a midi or project file that has all these chords & riffs!!?? I'd love to create afew bootleg remixes Lollll
Right now though, I'm. Kicking myself hard that I sold off my JP8K... One of the worst heartbreak I've had to put myself through... Smh lolll
Yeah having to get rid of gear you like sucks. There's no MIDI pack out there I'm afraid but there's definitely some of these melodies on nonstop2k dot com. Not always totally accurate but usually enough to get you started.
Wow, nice demos, would be neat to see how some of thoes are setup and sent to the JP, I know the upper and lower have different midi channels and voice allowances per each part.
King of Super Saws
I've got jp8000. But I would have a jp8080 as well 😍
I got both now!
excellent bank of sound.. these things ate pricy now. I'm glad I picked my jp8080 up for $600.00 Canadian
Yes! Bought one today!!! 470€!!
Had one, sold it to buy the v-synth but eventually missed the real 8080 sound.
Oh you know I always wanted a V-synth and I had hoped it could do the 8080 sound for real. You don't think it does? I've heard one other person day the same.
My time with the 8080 gives me the impression it's a real one off, no one would make a synth like this today with the power available from processors.
The sound engine in the 8080 seems like it was programmed in strange ways due to extreme limitations, I think that's why it has such a unique character.
@@AiynZahevSounds Just bought the sound pack and I will make a video of it and perhaps I will replicate the sounds on the V-Synth to make a kind of comparison.
The V-Synth can do a lot but somehow the 8080 has indeed a unique sound.
