The EP Carrillo Encore is all Nicaraguan. I think he got that me mixed up with another cigar.

That EPC Pledge... my goodness! Amongst the top 5 most memorable cigars I have ever smoked; and that's saying a lot because I've smoked a fair few great cigars - to have a blend that sticks out in one's mind is something. Delicious is what it is. Great show gents!

I like just trying random cigars and seeing what i like. Then I'll check out some of the top cigar lists and ratings to see if anything I like is rated as high as i think. A lot of the cigars I like end up with higj ratings and on top lists. Others dont make the lists. There are some cigars I like that don't make the list that i think are better than cigars that do make the list. It's all a matter of taste.

@@SmokinBarrelsShow My pleasure. How about covering Peruvian tobacco and cigars that contain it, like the H. Upmann Vintage Cameroon, the Montecristo Platinum Series, and others? I'd like to hear Kyle's take on that subject.

The gentleman said Cubans are not legal in the US. What is meant to say is Cubans are not legal to be sold by the market in the US. Its not illegal to smoke or even transport to the US. Just wanted to clarify that statement.

It’s illegal to bring them into the US period. Even as a traveler. Granted, customs isn’t likely to check. But it’s wise to remove the bands if you buy them overseas and want to bring them home. In my experience, Dominican & Nicaraguan sticks are just as good (better in many cases) and the quality control is more consistent. Cubans aren’t worth the hassle, in my personal opinion

@WhiskeySam1 that's not correct sir. Have done it many times. Stopped for baggage check, questioned whether or not my intention is to resell them and have not had any issues or warning. It's not illegal to bring them into the US border. Both from the Canadian border or traveling by airline. Done it from Cuba as well

Law changed recently. You can no longer buy Cuban cigars in Cuba or a third country and then bring them into the states.
If you did so in the last year and got away with it, congrats, border patrol agent let it go. But as far as the law is concerned, bringing in Cuban cigars, even without the intention to sell or distribute, is illegal.

I didn’t think so. For me it had some pepper and chocolate creaminess. It’s a great cigar all the way through the final third.

The Sixty has a San Andres wrapper.
