or even if reps didn't lag the entire tournament. indirectly i think Mac crashing game 4 forced them to play a certain way, and in that timeline, they get second place. But in other time lines with a full team they may have played differently if they had a full roster. hard to say honestly. But i think Jordan lagging the whole day was really unfortunate. But also, mac crashing game 4, Jordan lagging the whole time, still get second. They're not happy about it, but honestly, neither team should feel comfortable.

There were two things that really stood out to me during this video that should be embarrassing to Respawn and EA:
1. Tournament play is so stagnant due to the high weight of placements that pro players have to worry about afk timers kicking them during a match.
2. The ring mechanics are such that even if you make it to the last round alive, you can still lose to a down guy.
What is the point of a massive map with diverse possibilities for battles all over, yet every tournament game is a campfest for 20 mins and then pure chaos for about 1 minute. It's complete contrast to what most people know to be Apex. The rules for Competitive need to change.
Hal, I like how you guys play ngl. Like especially finding spots and rotate to it like your strats is so effective but sad sometimes y'all don't have enough ammo
They prioritize getting the best spots over loot. It's like they set a time limit to loot and then they head out no matter what

Why do they always have low ammo? They don’t pick a lot of ammo
It depends of the weapons. When they play long range weapon (scout, wingman), they take like 300 lights or 200 heavy. But with other weapons (mostly r99, peacekeper etc), they take 180 light or 24 shotgun hammo because grenades and heal are so much important. They also need to take ulti accelerant.
They rotate into zones early and lock down rooms so they dont get a chance to loot

@@soccergoalie94_87 Wrong. That was a clear mistake on Hal's side, he didn't even see the shield. There was more than enough time to drop his gold and pick up the evo for Reps. They did nothing the whole time and had lots of possibilities to level up that shield. Shouldn't happen on this level

You professionals make the most mistakes when you're playing under high pressure. Like....why are you dumping hella syringes and ammo when you have open slots in your bag? And why could that final 2nd place finisher just stand still and wait for the wraith to try to self-rez instead of wiggling around and losing the game?
ok im not sure what ammo and syringes part you are referring to but your second point, the pro didnt make a mistake. the final ring started closing and if he didnt try to finish the wraith or do a portal hop he was guaranteed to lose. all the downed people blocked him from going into the safe zone so he had no choice
Trevor Sanford and the wraith wouldn’t self revive because if they start self reviving they know he’ll die so he has his shield up max downed hp and they were just waiting it out to see who had more health and they won because of that why would they self revive last circle like that just to immediately shot that’s stupid they would never get it off like that.

You are correct about the looting part. If there is one aspect in Hal's game that needs improvement it is looting and economy management. Curiously, lots of high skill players have this problem
@@eXquisiteNoise because unlike most avg players who might spend time double/triple checking they're inv and repeatedly going through boxes to get what they think they need, these guys dont have the time. You grab what you need for a fight and everything else is bonus loot, overlooting is literally the difference between winning and losing
