- No music, no talking, just making a Grand Theft Auto rug from start to finish!
My 6th rug tufting video - this was the first time I changed my mind on the choice of colour mid-tufting... glad that I switched to a brighter orange but my colour gradients need a lot of work! Any idea how to get a smooth blend between 2 different colours? My logic was to overlay the vertical tufted lines by 10mm or so, not the best result so I'm thinking there must be a better way of doing it!

Since the tufting gun uses two strands at a time, could you use two colours of yarn to blend the transition from orange to yellow a bit?

How thick is the wool bro ? Does it matter ?
I use the "chunky" thickness of wool and double up in the gun :)
This is an excellent video. How much would it roughly cost if I wanted to start making my own rugs? I have hardwood floors and wouldn't mind making something myself.
